Dec.'08 Obama, Gov. Blagojevitch, Chicago politics, corruption, and change - "We really are in for a major change from the low-key, law abiding George W. Bush, as Obama promised during his campaign.  However, it may not be the "change" that most Americans had in mind when they voted for Obama."
COMMENTARY: The main issue is Obama's character and judgment.  Unlike what Sarah Palin did in Alaska, Obama did not work to change the corrupt political system in Chicago, but rather "used" it to further his political career.  While he kept a certain "distance" from direct involvement with corrupt officials and politicians, he showed very poor judgment by not condemning the Democratic Party "machine" that controls Chicago politics.  That record of poor judgment will follow him throughout his term as President of the United States and throughout his life.

Oct. '08 Rashid Khalidi Blasts Chicago Politics - "They are the kind of things that move domestic politics in Chicago — money, votes, corruption, bribery, influence peddling, back-door deals.  The kind of things that Cook County, the city of Chicago, the state of Illinois, the politics on the local level work through and because of.  The kind of you scratch my back and I scratch yours..."
April '08 Ayers, Rezko, and Obama: Countering the Outsider Image  - "In eight years as a state senator the only thing he (Obama) did was get himself very cozy with all of the power players that make up the fiber of the corruption.  While Obama claims to be an outsider ready to fix Washington, it is clear that in his eight years as a State Senator he was the exact opposite.  His rhetoric of reform may sound nice and promising however it comes with a history of action that is the exact opposite."

Nov. '08 Why Sarah Palin was wrong for America - "Barack Obama did not win the presidency because he’s an extraordinary candidate, but because he ran against an extraordinarily weak opponent who had an even weaker running mate in Sarah Palin.  John McCain’s selfish, reckless decision to put Palin one heartbeat away from the presidency marked the beginning of the end of his presidential ambitions, and proved once and for all that John McCain did not put country first.  Though he was a war hero, John McCain is not the man he used to be."
COMMENTARY: Sarah Palin's political future is yet to be decided, but there is no question John McCain ran a poor campaign and caused much damage to the public's image of the Republican Party and Conservatism.  He failed to articulate his plans and basically focused on one issue (taxes).  He rightly accused Obama of not having the necessary experience to be President, but went overboard on Obama's past associations and therefore failed to convince many voters that he himself had the credentials necessary to lead our country.  He is also not a true Conservative and is not loyal to Republican Party principles, but rather, comes across as an "Independent."  Nor was he a good debater.  He failed to stress or explain grave moral issues (abortion, homosexual marriage, gays in the military, embryonic stem cell research) that would have embarrassed Obama.  Sadly, McCain did not appear to be as concerned for the welfare of our country as he did being in the limelight.

Nov. '08 Obama administration reveals plans to advance gay agenda - "The Obama administration plans to push for homosexual rights by including protections of sexual orientation, 'gender identity' and 'gender expression' as civil rights."
COMMENTARY: Obama has further clarified his morally twisted plans for homosexual "rights."  Although he claims to be a "Christian," he ignores the Lord's definition of relationships and marriage, as well as the fact that God defines homosexual relationships as "unnatural."  He also fails to realize that no country that desires God's blessings should go against His Word:

NOTE: In the below verses the Lord is warning PRACTICING homosexuals.  Those who are truly attempting to rid themselves of unnatural feelings through counseling and prayer do not wish to place themselves on "display" and they deserve our compassion, respect, and support.  Only practicing (avowed) homosexuals who have no shame and do not live by God's Word choose to publicly "broadcast" their immoral lifestyles and pursue their "rights."

"Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind, because it is an abomination" (Leviticus 18:22).

"Have ye not read, that he who made man from the beginning, made them male and female?  And he said: For this cause shall a MAN leave father and mother and shall cleave to his WIFE, and they two shall be in one flesh" (Matthew 19:4-5).

"Because that, when they knew God, they have not glorified him as God, or given thanks, but became vain in their thoughts, their foolish heart was DARKENED.  For professing themselves to be wise, they became FOOLS... Who changed the TRUTH of God into a LIE, and worshiped and served the CREATURE rather than the CREATOR...

For this cause God delivered them up to SHAMEFUL affections.  For their women have changed the natural use into that use which is AGAINST NATURE.  And, in like manner, the men also, leaving the natural use of the women, have burned in their lusts one towards another, men with men working that which is FILTHY, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was due to their error" (Romans 1:21-22, 25-27)

Dec. '08 World cities call for end to death penalty - "Major international human rights organizations and the World Coalition Against the Death Penalty officially support the initiative."
COMMENTARY: Sadly, abortion was not included even though it is a "death penalty" for our innocent unborn who are not even being given a trial to decide their fate.  It appears these organizations are either naive and have good intentions or they are politically motivated.
Nov. '08 Obama on board with China's 'forced abortion' plan - "Obama will reverse Bush's order and financially condone 'China's population control police as they drag women off for forced abortions and forced sterilizations.'"
Nov. '08 Obama Selecting the Most Anti-Life, Anti-Family Radicals He Can Find for Administration - "In light of further actual and rumored appointments, Obama's future presidential administration is steadily emerging as a regime ominously packed with Obama insiders who promise to help roll out the carpet for the President-elect's radical anti-life and anti-family agenda."
COMMENTARY: Many indifferent, foolish Catholics were aware of Obama's lack of spiritual credentials but still voted for him.  However, the bishops & priests who failed to warn their flock, but instead told them not to be a "one issue" voter are far more guilty.  Ironically, many who hated Bush's policies because of the war in Iraq will not hate Obama policies, although the killing of our innocent unborn is a far greater "crime" than going to war with the approval of Congress.
Nov. '08 Cardinal Stafford Stands by Criticism of Obama - "Stafford told CNN he does believe Obama’s stance on abortion rights condones violence towards unborn children, and he does not understand how a Catholic voter could look favorably at the president-elect when 'he is hostile to the life of an unborn child.'“
Nov. '08 Vatican Cardinal: "A New World Order is Gaining Ground" - "Cardinal Stanislaw Rylko, warned, 'The idea of creating a "new man" completely detached from the Judeo-Christian tradition, a new 'world order,' a new 'global ethic,' is gaining ground.'"
COMMENTARY:  All true Christians and believers in God agree with this statement: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men (and women) to do nothing." (Edmund Burke (1729 - 1797) - Social/Political Philosopher & Statesman)
Nov. '08 Barack Obama is the Best Thing to Ever Happen to Expose Black Genocide - "Barack Obama's longstanding relationship with Planned Parenthood is easily documented along with how he strategizes with Planned Parenthood to aid the killing of predominately black babies.  Black Genocide can now come to the surface. 'Barack Obama has the dubious distinction of having voted four times against providing care to babies that survive an abortion procedure.'"
COMMENTARY: Some African Americans did not "follow the crowd" and vote for Obama.  Sadly, many others chose to vote for him because of his race, and ignored his corrupt moral character.
Nov. '08 Spanish woman shows homosexuality can be overcome - “'No matter what you have gone through, experienced or felt, you are not the only person who has gone through this.  Even though you may feel overcome by profound sorrow or sadness, even though you feel alone, guilty or embarrassed, your life can change.  But for that to happen you must open your heart and seek help,' she said."
Nov. '08 Cardinal Rouco: Homosexual “marriage” is rebellion against man’s biological limits- "The cardinal noted that human laws need not coincide to the letter with the moral law, but they must protect fundamental concepts 'without which society cannot subsist.'”
Nov. '08 At the Vatican, One Newspaper Is Making Noise. For Some, Too Much - "It is a newspaper of documents, of news, of commentary, and even of polemics, under the autonomous responsibility of those who write for it and direct it. With the entire world as its horizon, and on questions without boundaries."
COMMENTARY: All truly "Catholic" newspapers should "make noise."  Unfortunately, many are too connected with the world to be a strong voice for the Church.
Nov. '08 Pope Clarifies Luther's Idea of Justification - "The Bishop of Rome continued, that Luther's expression 'by faith alone' is true 'if faith is not opposed to charity...'"
Nov. '08 Opponents brace for end of stem cell ban - "The question is, does the Bush policy get replaced with 'the law of the jungle' where scientists can create and clone human embryos for the sole purpose of studying their cells and then destroying them..."
COMMENTARY: Many in the Church attacked President George W. Bush over the war in Iraq and contributed to the "hate Bush" rhetoric throughout the world while ignoring the grave sin of abortion that has killed millions.  Others simply praised Obama because of his race or their fear of a bad economy.  Because many weak "Christians" failed to place their trust in Almighty God, they will be held more accountable for the "fall out" that results from Obama's immoral policies and Presidential orders.
Aug. '08 Survivor of Late Term Abortion - "The devastating human cost of late-term abortion will be brought into stark reality when a survivor of a saline abortion visits Canberra on the eve of a vote to disallow the Medicare funding of second trimester and late-term abortions."
Aug. '08 Niece of Martin Luther King Jr. denounces pro-abortion Democrats - "As (Alveda) King put it yesterday, 'I know in my heart that if Uncle Martin were alive today, he would join with me in the greatest civil rights struggle of this generation -- the recognition of the unborn child's basic right to life.'"
Aug. '08 Michelle Obama's abortion stance is just as spiritually insane as her husbands - “He’ll (Barack) protect a woman’s freedom of choice, because government should have no say in whether or when a woman embraces the sacred responsibility of parenthood.”
COMMENTARY: This article again confirms that many Democrats are vicious, hypocritical supporters of the "right to kill" innocent unborn Americans.  All truly good people are sickened by their godless approach to governing and their failure to realize that human life is SACRED, no matter what the stage of development.  Responsible parenthood PROTECTS, and does not DESTROY human life.
Aug. '08 Democrat's Biden Blather-Meter Rises On His Pro-abortion Stance: "My Views are Totally Consistent with Catholic Social Doctrine..."  Really? - "Perhaps Biden, Pelosi, and others do suffer from invincible ignorance.  Or perhaps they are simply denying or ignoring what they know the Church does clearly teach."
Aug. '08 'Vice President' Biden wouldn't be permitted to speak at Catholic schools -  Wrote the Bishop: "No one today would accept this statement from any public servant": 'I am personally opposed to human slavery and racism but will not impose my personal conviction in the legislative arena.'  "Likewise, none of us should accept this statement from any public servant:" 'I am personally opposed to abortion but will not impose my personal conviction in the legislative arena.'"
July '08 The long-range answer to the priest shortage requires the Church to ordain women and making celibacy optional? - "As the number of Catholic priests in the United States declines and the ranks of Catholics increase, dioceses across the country are trying to do more with less.  Many times that leads to the closing of parishes."
COMMENTARY: "FutureChurch" is not an approved Church organization and the opinions of it's members are not to be trusted as representing the teachings of the Catholic Church.  The shortage of priests is the result of a lack of faith, and worldly solutions will not solve the problem.  Only prayer and a return by Catholics to truly practicing their faith will solve the priest shortage.
July '08 Obama rejecting our values 100% of the time - "It isn't the color of his skin that concerns the majority of sane-thinking Republicans – it is his liberal voting record and the elite liberal socialist groups that own him."
COMMENTARY: Many Blacks are so eager to see a one of their own become President that they will gladly vote for Obama.  However, it is a sad fact that most Blacks could care less about Obama's pro-death abortion votes, therefore they cannot claim ignorance should he be elected and turn-out to be a poor President who contributes to the moral ruin of our country.
July '08 YouTube Censors Pro-Life Video - "This is apparently not the first time YouTube, and its parent company, have engaged in censorship.  Bowing to pressure from Beijing, Google blocks certain content from its Chinese website."
July '08 "The truth is that the biggest enemy of Islam is the Muslims themselves, because they have relinquished all decency in dealing with others, as well as the courage to oppose oppression" - "The statements these columnists make are generally true and commonsensical, but highly unusual in the Islamic world -- where self-righteous moral posturing and finger-pointing rules the day."
COMMENTARY: Amnesty International has proven itself to be a poorly run organization that has lost its original goal of protecting the rights of the innocent.  Any sane person knows innocent unborn human beings should be protected and be given equal rights because we are all "created equal."  However, it appears "justice for all" is no longer important for the leadership of this organization.
July '08 One woman's journey from pro-choice atheist to pro-life Catholic - "I realized in that moment that perfectly good, well-meaning people—people like me—can support gravely evil things because of the power of lies."
COMMENTARY: The above statement is not exactly true.  You cannot be "perfectly good," and still lack discernment as to what is evil or sinful, and what is pleasing to God.  You would know in your heart that you are not hearing or seeking the truth.  However, it still brings joy to the hearts of believers when they learn of a conversion.
June '08 How Much Time Does the U.S. Have? - "I just don’t see how a God of Justice can tolerate such a diabolical mockery of His divinely ordained instituion of marriage for very long."
June '08 As controversy rages within the Church of England, the Roman Catholic Church is not only surviving- it's thriving - "The Catholic Church has diminished in numbers since its heyday in the early Sixties but, in an age defined by secularism, it (She) is still with us, growing strongly in some areas and more diverse than you might think."
June '08 Vatican: Receiving Eucharist kneeling will be norm at papal liturgies - Kneeling and receiving Communion on the tongue highlights "the truth of the real presence (of Christ) in the Eucharist, helps the devotion of the faithful and introduces the sense of mystery more easily," he (Pope Benedict XVI) said in a June 26 interview with the Vatican newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano.
COMMENTARY: A welcomed return to respect for our Lord rather than "convenience" for our priests and the laity.
June '08 Cardinal Francis George Removes Pfleger from St. Sabina parish - In the statement, Cardinal Francis George says he asked the Rev. Michael Pfleger, 59, to “take leave for a couple of weeks from his pastoral duties.”
COMMENTARY:  A rather weak response from Cardinal George considering the judgmental, hateful remarks made by this "priest" who is causing scandal to the Catholic Church around the world.  Some bishops never learn - they were soft on priests accused of sex-abuse and continue to be soft on others who openly give poor example to both Christians and non-Christians.
May '08 The Unborn's Silent Suffering - "Admitting that a fetus does feel pain, however, is difficult for abortion advocates, as it is just one more bit of evidence proving how wrong they are about denying the unborn a chance to live."
May '08 Paul VI saw liturgical abuse as "smoke of Satan"- He spoke of the smoke of Satan because he maintained that those priests who turned Holy Mass into dross in the name of creativity, in reality were possessed of the vainglory and the pride of the Evil One."
COMMENTARY: This holy pope without question suffered greatly from the abuse that he felt would result from the liberalizing of the Mass.  While the new Mass said in local languages did much to improve the understanding of the Mass, it also did much harm.  Many priests have become "entertainers" and a "master of ceremonies" rather than truly holy & loyal sons of God.  Many priests, rather than interceding for their flock, now pray directly to their parishioners and not to the Lord during Mass.  They love being recognized and patted on the back, and they love to tell jokes and speak of worldly things like football at Mass.  They are a disgrace to the priesthood and the cause of scandal, but it does not bother them because they know their bishop will not do anything should someone complain about them.  The Church is in need of renewal, but very few bishops are willing to start that "renewal" because they themselves lack holiness.
March '08 Clinton-Obama dream team? Oh, dream on! - "Alike as the two senators may be in their drive and ambition, it may be impossible for them to project the image of two people who genuinely like each other."
COMMENTARY: It might also be said: "alike as these two hypocrites are, it is impossible for anyone with any common sense to vote for either one of them."
March '08 Editorial: The Hope of a Sophist: The Rhetoric of Barack Obama - "Obama is the most dangerous candidate seeking the presidency."
Feb. '08 In the Democratic Debate, Cooler Heads Prevail - "She (Clinton) got mad all over again: 'I seem to get the first question all the time' at the debates, she grumbled.  Oh, she does?  Well -- so what? Isn't there rather an advantage to speaking first?  Is there perchance a vast right-wing conspiracy afoot?"
COMMENTARY: As noted among the "comments" to this article: "Neither of these two "deceivers" deserves to be President because they believe you have the "right to kill" unborn Americans in the womb. Millions upon millions of unborn human beings have died by the blood-soaked hands of the Democrats because of their refusal to support a Human Life Amendment.  Human life matters little to Democrats - they are more concerned with achieving power.  The only "change" they will bring is the moral ruin of our country."
Feb. '08 Huckabee: It’s not over ’til Wisconsin says it’s over - "McCain has too much in common with candidates on the other side of the ballot, he said. 'I don’t understand why the Republican base is supporting (McCain). It baffles me.'"
COMMENTARY: Unfortunately, Huckabee is also not fully aware that Wisconsin, like a number of other states, has many selfish people who are very liberal and could care less about the murder of our unborn or keeping the Lord's Day holy.  Many people in WI routinely vote for pro-abortion politicians and are indifferent as to what is sinful.  Therefore, they choose to worship the Green Bay Packers and other sports teams rather than the Lord.  Spiritually lukewarm bishops, priests, and others from various religious orders also openly profess their great "love" for the Packers, although greedy unionized Packer players choose to play most of their games on Sundays rather than playing all of their games during the week.  Because of their poor example. many of the clergy have become a source of scandal, not only to other Catholics, but also to those of other Faiths.  Huckabee may be a good man, but sadly, truly good men & women are no longer appreciated by most of today’s voters.
Feb. '08 Clinton: "If you were really pro-life, you would want to put every doctor . . . in prison" - "Our generation is pro-life.  It is amazing that these pro-abortion politicians think that they can continuously support the killing of millions of unborn children and no one will express their dissatisfaction. They think they don't ever have to answer questions about their pro-abortion policies or the money they receive from pro-abortion lobbying organizations.  This generation will no longer tolerate these types of politicians, their rhetoric, or their pro-death policies," said Kristan Hawkins, Executive Director of Students for Life of America."
COMMENTARY: The morally sick Clintons believe they can dismiss the murder of our unborn by their foolish responses.  However, their trail of blood will follow them throughout their lives unless they confess their sins, and ask forgiveness from our Lord.
Feb. '08 Muslim Laws and Western Society - "Remarks made about the introduction of Shariah -- a strict form of Muslim law -- by England's Anglican leader, Archbishop Rowan Williams, sparked off a storm of criticism."
Feb. '08 In War against Islamism, We Must Listen to the Words of Our Enemies - "Mr. President (Bush), your intentions of an ideological liberation of the Muslim world are on the mark.  But an effective execution in this contest of ideas has yet to even begin."
COMMENTARY: Although imperfect, America has contributed to a far greater awareness of the dangers of terrorism in many parts of the world.  However, the war in Iraq has angered many people who oppose it, and they therefore have become indifferent & vengeful towards many things the President has requested, and this has greatly contributed to the lack of willingness by religious & political scholars to study this issue in a deeper, more effective manner.
Feb. '08 Black History Month - "There is one thing most kids have not been learning about many of these famous men and women: that is, their Christian faith and how it motivated their lives and their work."
COMMENTARY: The problem today is many so-called "Christians" live by their opinions rather than the Word of God, and are very selective as to which Church teachings they will follow.
Jan. '08 Obama is the Most Pro-Abortion Candidate Ever - "On the Illinois Senate floor, Obama was the only senator to speak against the baby-protecting bills.  He voted "present" on each, effectively the same as a "no."
COMMENTARY: George W. Bush may be our last truly great President. The Democratic Party is already almost totally corrupted, and lacks any noteworthy moral values.  However, it is a sad fact that with the exception of a few like President Bush, the teachings of the world are also invading the Republican Party.

A portion of President Bush's addresses at the51st annual Prayer Breakfast: "In this hour of our country's history, we stand in the need of prayer.  We pray for the families that have known recent loss.  We pray for the men and women who serve around the world to defend our freedom.  We pray for their families.  We pray for wisdom to know and do what is right. And we pray for God's peace in the affairs of men.  May God bless you all."
Jan. '08 Arguments against the Electoral College in US politics - "The time has come for the electoral college to go. The will of the majority should be served in a majority-rule system."
COMMENTARY: There was a good reason our Founding Fathers chose the electoral system.  If for example, a Presidential candidate was from a much larger state than his opponent, he would have an immediate advantage if the "majority-rule" system were in place.  In addition, people in heavily populated states have different interests, and are generally more liberal than those in smaller states.  Different regions of our country have different needs, and some of the needs of the less populated areas would be past over or ignored if a majority-rule system were in place and that majority felt they were "not legitimate, not necessary, or too expensive."  The electoral collage not only provides more balance, but also insures our country is not dominated by candidates from much larger, more liberal states who, for the sake of votes, would favor the needs of the more populated areas over the needs of those living in less populated areas.  The rights & needs of each state, and the diversity of opinions needed for the welfare of our country must not be diminished or weakened by self-centered people who seek majority-rule, but rather, the wisdom of our Founding Fathers should continue to be our guide.
Jan. '08 Catholic Schools Key in Midst of "Educational Crisis"  -"In the midst of what Benedict XVI calls an "educational crisis," it is important for Catholic schools to maintain their identity."
COMMENTARY: It is unfortunate that many so-called "Catholic" schools have simply become "private" schools that lack a special spiritual identity and therefore differ little from public schools."
Jan. '08  Obama Takes on Question of Faith - "Barack Obama is stepping up his effort to correct the misconception that he's a Muslim now that the presidential campaign has hit the Bible Belt."
COMMENTARY: Claiming to be a "Christian" while supporting the right to kill unborn Americans again reveals the hypocritical, immoral side of both Obama and Hillary Clinton.
Jan. '08 Politics and Religion Do Mix - "Religion appears to have an effect on economic growth and development by fostering thrift, a work ethic, honesty and openness to strangers."
COMMENTARY: We should not desire "religious" politicians simply because "religion is good for the economy," and Protestants are certainly not the only ones who taught that working hard can lead to "prosperity" - providing certain economic conditions & opportunities are present, which was not the case during the Great Depression

In addition, all religions are not alike and therefore it is not possible that every religion teaches the Truth as inspired by the Spirit of GodTruth remains truth, and it takes the Gift of Wisdom to understand it.  For example, when interpreting certain teachings from the Holy Bible, there can be only one correct interpretation that reveals the truth, even if expressed in a number of different ways - not dozens of interpretations that teach half-truths, near truths, or complete falsehoods as is currently being taught by hundreds of so-called "religions."
Jan. '08 Why We Serve: Army Major Wants to Share Her Success Story - Army Maj. Lisa L. Carter, a two-time Iraq veteran, wants to share her life’s success story with the American public.
Jan. '08  Iraq: World Health Organization Says Violence Has Claimed 151,000 Civilians Since 2003 - "The WHO estimate is based on interviews in more than 9,000 households across Iraq and is among the most comprehensive of such surveys to date."
COMMENTARY: No doubt the United States will also be blamed for these deaths despite the fact that the vast majority were caused by internal quarrels and the cowardly tactics of terrorists.  Many forget that Iraq has a bloody past, and a far greater conflict and disturbance to peace in the Middle East took place only a few years ago when Iraq went to war against Iran.  However, if a democracy can be established in Iraq it will become a model for a number of countries that are now controlled by dictators, including those that call themselves "kings."

True freedom is not achieved overnight and without great sacrifices, and unfortunately that involves the loss of innocent lives - this is how the United States (with the assistance of France), won it's independence from England, and why America had a Civil War, and this is how other Middle East countries will achieve their independence.  When power hungry dictators and misguided religious zealots are the main influence in a country, far more serious consequences can take place. See: Iran-Iraq War - "It is believed that more than a million Iraqi and Iranian soldiers as well as civilians died in the war with many more injured and wounded."
Jan. '08 The Media Assault on American Values - "The widespread American belief that the news and entertainment media are damaging the nation’s moral values is clearly justified by the results of the National Cultural Values Survey."
COMMENTARY: While the news & entertainment industry are very influential, the main fault lies with Americans who are indifferent and/or lukewarm in the practice of their Faith. Evil can only grow when good people do nothing, or when the majority of people are not good.
Jan. '08  Clinton to Obama: You're not as Pro-Abortion as Me - "Planned Parenthood in Northern New England counters that Obama "was a leader and activist in reproductive rights for more than 20 years."
COMMENTARY: What a disgraceful debate. It is one thing to be "pro-death," but it is far more evil to brag about who has the greater record in giving their approval to the killing of the unborn!  Neither of these two morally sick individuals deserves to be President.
Jan. '08 In Iowa, Obama Wins, Clinton Concedes - "Obama's win sends a shock wave through the Democratic field as a candidate who was elected to the Senate from Illinois just two years ago has toppled the first family of Democratic politics."
COMMENTARY: Hitler was also a skilled orator, but look at the damage that madman did to Germany and the world.  You need more than a big ego to be qualified to be President, you need experience and moral credentials and these are greatly lacking in this politically dangerous man.  However, many foolish Germans did follow Hitler, and therefore sadly, many other fools who are indifferent to the extermination of unwanted human beings (abortion) will continue to follow the spiritually insane beliefs of misguided people like Barack Obama.
Jan. '08 Praise, concerns over Latin masses in Berwyn church - "Most of the problems in the Catholic Church, including lower Sunday mass attendance and lack of priestly vocations can be traced to the changes in the mass after the reforms of Vatican II.  'When you change the way people pray, you change the way they appreciate their faith...'"
Jan. '08 Blair Conversion Raises Eyebrows - State of Religion in England - “During his premiership, Tony Blair became one of the world's most significant architects of the culture of death -- promoting abortion, experiments on human embryos, including on cloned human embryos, and euthanasia by neglect."  ..... “I would advise people who are critical to wait and see what sort of man this will be, and how he might help our cause,” commented Father Russ.
COMMENTARY: This will be interesting to watch unfold - is it a true "conversion," or is Blair simply switching religions to conform to the religion of his wife and children?  Britain is a morally corrupt country that fails to look inward and therefore most of it's people lack the wisdom necessary to change their lives in a manner that is pleasing to God.  However, the Lord is not looking the other way, and unless many sincere spiritual conversions take place, Britain, like all morally corrupt countries, will experience the Lord's Justice.
Jan. '08 Marines Back in Fallujah, Participates in Rebirth of Once Deadly City - "The environment here is calm.  The explosions and pop shots are few and far between these days.  Now when Marines walk down the streets, they are attacked by children wanting attention, not terrorists."
Jan. '08 Deaths outnumber births in third of US counties - "This is a country focused on growth, on the population getting bigger, on expansion and sprawl," he says.  "We have near-record numbers of births right now, immigrants are flooding in. … So we have endless arguments about immigrants and smart growth while hundreds of counties are essentially being depopulated with no one noticing."
Jan. '08  Never give up, says priest who battled blindness - "Orphaned and blinded in the Korean War, Kim Sun-Tae has overcome disability, poverty...."
