AFRICAN AMERICANS MUST LOOK INWARD AND NOT OUTWARD FOR ANSWERS

Unlike Martin Luther King, self-proclaimed leaders of the Black community like Barack Obama, Jesse Jackson and Jeremiah Wright, Jr have never learned that accusations of racism and immorality must not be a one-sided argument.

You must not excuse the racism and immoral lifestyles (high crime rate and number of abortions) of African Americans while condemning the racism and immorality of Caucasian Americans.

To gain the respect they desire and the peace they seek, Black Americans must first look inward rather than outward for answers.

Rather than attempting to place the blame on the current generation for things that happened in the past, Blacks should follow the path taken by other minorities.  They must learn to accept personal responsibility for the negative attitudes others may have concerning their actions and lifestyles and seek to continue to improve through education and by a deepening of their faith.

Part of Martin Luther King’s "dream" was that his children would someday not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

Ironically, many people today are applauding misguided Black Americans like Obama, Jackson and Wright simply because of the color of their skin, while ignoring the "content of their character."
