PLEASE NOTE: If you are Catholic and divorced, you must have an annulment from the Church or are seeking one because the Church considers you still married until your annulment is approved. You are not even allowed to date. In addition, since Protestant marriages are also valid and considered a Sacrament, an annulment is required before a Catholic can marry a divorced Protestant Christian. (An investigation may be necessary to determine if an annulment is necessary if the divorced person is from a non-Christian Faith). You are dealing with the issue of adultery and therefore this is not a light matter. However, many annulments are much easier to get than most people assume. It is very important that two people be of the same Faith to have a good marriage.

Caution: Although they advertise themselves as "truly Catholic," that is far from the truth, for they allow "progressive" members that are in reality "liberal" in their beliefs.  Liberal thinking people in the Church may call themselves "Catholics," but if they go against the teachings of the Church on abortion, women priests, or any other grave moral issue, they are simply "using" the Church to promote the teachings of the world.  Therefore the Church cannot, and does not define them as "truly Catholic."
