SCANDAL WITHIN THE CHURCH!
THE MORALLY CORRUPT AND
WORLDLY CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF GREEN BAY
WEBSITE READERS: IF YOU FIND AGREEMENT WITH THE THINGS I HAVE WRITTEN IN THIS LETTER, PLEASE FOWARD IT TO AS MANY OFFICIALS AND LAYPEOPLE WITHIN THE CHURCH AS YOU ARE ABLE. (SEE "CONTACTS" AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE). THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU!

Bishop David L. Ricken of the Green Bay Diocese refuses to study and address the causes of these grave moral issues. You will find that many of these issues reflect the spiritual state of the average diocese in the USA and other nations of the West. Therefore this letter is just as timely today as the day it was written.
As noted in the About/Contact section, I have received Papal blessings from Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI, and an endorsement from the late Cardinal Stickler and his blessing upon my Mission.
Also note: This letter contains information that will interest good people, but irritate those who are lukewarm in the practice of their Faith, and they will either ignore it's teachings or refuse to study them as Bishop Ricken has done.
In addition, since this letter contains many spiritual resources, some of which I wrote in a deeper spiritual style many are unfamiliar with, some will also have difficulty understanding it:
"Now we have received not the spirit of this world, but the Spirit that is of God; that we may know the things that are given us from God. Which things also we speak, not in the learned words of human wisdom, but in the doctrine of the Spirit, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
But the sensual man perceiveth not these things that are of the Spirit of God; for it is foolishness to him, and he cannot understand because it is spiritually examined. But the spiritual man judgeth all things, and he himself is judged of no man"
(1 Corinthians 2:13 -12-15).
Footnote reads: 'The sensual man'... "The sensual man is either he who is taken up with sensual pleasures, with carnal and worldly affections; or he who measureth divine mysteries by natural reason, sense, and human wisdom only.
Now such a man has little or no notion of the things of God. Whereas the spiritual man is he who, in the mysteries of religion, takes not human sense for his guide: but submits his judgment to the decisions of the Church, which he is commanded to hear and obey.
For Christ hath promised to remain to the end of the world with His Church, and to direct Her in all things by the Spirit of truth."
Finally, as you read this letter I wrote to the U.S. Bishops, please keep in mind that no matter what your "position" is within the Church, whenever you excuse, sympathize with, or defend evil, you commit sin and become part of that evil.
Those who object to the admonishments and corrections given in this letter and the booklet I wrote must also remember that when you are spiritually "lukewarm" you are not pleasing to GOD, because you do not truly love Him, His Church, or your brothers and sisters:
"But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold or hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth.
Because thou sayest: 'I am rich and made wealthy and have need of nothing,' and knowest not that thou art wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel thee to buy of me gold fire tried, that thou mayest be made rich and mayest be clothed in white garments, and that the shame of thy nakedness may not appear; and anoint thy eyes with eyesalve that thou mayest see.
Such as I love, I rebuke and chastise. Be zealous therefore, and do penance. Behold, I stand at the gate and knock. If any man shall hear my voice and open to me the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
To him that shall overcome, I will give to sit with me on my throne; as I also have overcome and am set down with my Father on his throne.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches" (Revelations 3:16-22).

MORAL CORRUPTION IN THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF GREEN BAY
(Allowed & approved of by Bishop David Ricken)
"There are some who think, and even declare openly, that the true measure of the merits of a priest is his dedication to the service of others; consequently, with an almost complete disregard for the cultivation of the virtues which lead to the personal sanctification of the priest (these they describe as passive virtues), they assert that all his energies and fervor should be directed to the development and practice of what they call the active virtues. One can only be astonished by this gravely erroneous and pernicious teaching."
(Haerent Animo. Apostolic Exhortation given by Pope St. Pius X on August 4, 1908)
(Presbyterorum Ordinis Promulgated by His Holiness, Pope Paul VI on December 7, 1965)
To-date, nothing of moral substance has changed for the Diocese of Green Bay, Wisconsin which is ruled by Bishop Ricken.
(Copies of the e-mails I sent him on Dec. 16, 2009 and Dec. 31, 2009 in regard to this letter are shown at the bottom of this page). On February 1, 2010 I also sent him a certfied letter about these moral issues in case my e-mails were not being passed on to him. On April 22, 2010 I sent him another certified letter. (Both of these letters are also published near the bottom of this page). If His Excellency would have given a positive response, the format of this category would have been changed.
However, like the bishops who hid the sexual abuse scandals, Bishop David L. Ricken and a number of other bishops, because of their pride, have chosen to hide the many grave sins present within their dioceses and refuse to address the clear evidence presented to them by this person and perhaps others. Unfortunately, Bishop Ricken has proven himself to be far more guilty since he was directly given many examples of this immorality and chose to ignore the evidence and dismiss it for fear of exposing his lack of spirituality and his poor leadership, as well as that of some previous bishops of the Green Bay Diocese.
But since there are many other spiritually lukewarm souls in the diocese of Green Bay who do not fear Almighty God and are very worldly, he will not be alone in his indifference, but will have many "friends" who will support him.
That is, until he faces the great and severe judgment he will receive from the Lord. Only then will he feel totally alone and experience great fear, but it will be too late (unless he changes before that terrible day).
Memo: This below letter has been updated to include more references (Links), and was made open to viewing by the public on this website on Dec. 15, 2009.
Caution: The truly good Shepherds will welcome this letter, for they seek a closer relationship with our Lord. However, those (clergy, Religious and laypeople) who are not right with God and are guilty of the things written about in this letter will react in an arrogant manner and will want to censor it.
Do not listen to them, let the Holy Spirit be your Guide. Thank you and God Bless you!

Also note: This is a rather deep and very important study, but if you are sincerely interested in the Church, you will benefit by it's teachings and the many resources it offers.
It is natural to feel somewhat skeptical at first, but as you read the spiritual evidence shown in this letter, you will see that it is not just based on the "opinions" of this writer, but upon the Word of God as revealed in the Holy Bible and by other spiritual resources in the Church, including Canon Law.
Below are portions of the (20 page) 2-16-01 letter I wrote to the U.S. Bishops (it has been slightly modified for communication purposes).
The addresses I used were from the United States National Conference of Catholic Bishops' listing of 2-3-01.
Feb. 16, 2001
Dear Leaders of the Flock,
This writer previously wrote you on June 14, 1999, (if your name was on the June, 1999 National Conference of Catholic Bishops, U.S. Catholic Conference Listing) and sent you the enclosed booklet titled: Is Today's Church Pleasing to God? and The Messages to the Churches.
In addition, I enclosed an endorsement letter for my booklet and a blessing for my Mission from Cardinal Stickler as well as letters I wrote to Bishop Banks dated 4-27 and 5-17-99. Bishop Banks' response letters of 5-11 and 6-4-99 were also included.
Very few of you responded. On July 13, 1999, I wrote you again and this time no one responded. I do not now ask you to provide this servant with the reasons why you failed to reply to either of my letters, but I do ask that you present those reasons to the Lord while comparing your response or lack of response, to that of His Holiness, (Pope John Paul II) who has responsibilities far greater than yours.
I realize that some of you were unsure as to what to do, and therefore chose not to take any action. It is therefore not necessary that you request another copy of those letters at this time as this letter will replace the documents I previously sent to you.
The following explains why I am motivated to write about the things I believe the Lord is not pleased with in today's Church:
In 1987 as I was preparing to be "Baptized in the Spirit" and praying over a list of the Gifts of The Spirit and came to the gift of Wisdom, I received a powerful Sign from the Lord that he desired to give to this, his unworthy servant, that Gift.
My soul was filled with an immense joy and peace, so overpowering that I did not want It ever to leave. I tested this "Sign" a number of times, for when I looked at the names of the other gifts, this deep joy, diminished, but when I returned to "Wisdom," it returned to It's original intensity.
After 5 or 6 minutes, (it is difficult to recall the exact time), that overwhelming joy left me and has never returned. I believe the Lord chose to give me this Gift in this manner so that I would be confident that no matter who would come against what His Spirit reveals to me, I would be assured His Counsel would prevail.
I am not a Prophet, but this Gift is similar to what the Lord has given to others He assigns a special Mission (see: Jeremias 1:17-19). My spiritual life then changed, and my love and understanding for God's Word as written in the Scriptures and revealed through others, with study, began to increase, and seeking His Word continues to this day to be the constant desire of my heart. The result is that I see clearly sin and the harm it does, especially to the Church.
And while the spiritual Church shall always remain holy because the Holy Spirit is the Soul of the Church, Her members are in constant need of direction and correction, for like sheep they can easily wander from their Master - Jesus, The Good Shepherd.
In November of 1988, my wife Loretta (a "victim" soul) and I, received a powerful prophecy that I believe is meant for all of mankind, part of which has come to be, and part of which remains to be fulfilled.
In that prophecy the Holy Spirit speaks of "The Things of my Spirit," and again confirms the receiving of the gift of Wisdom (See Romans 8:5 and 1 Corinthians, chapter 2).
What is the purpose of this Gift?:
"And who shall know thy thought, except thou give wisdom, and send thy Holy Spirit from above. And so the ways of them that are upon earth may be corrected, and men may learn the things that please thee?" (Wisdom 9:17-18).
Are all given this Gift in the same measure?
"To one indeed, by the Spirit, is given the word of wisdom, and to another, the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit... But all these things one and the same Spirit worketh, dividing to everyone according as he will"
(1 Corinthians 12:8 & 11).
And what is the purpose of being "Baptized in the Spirit"? - To release the fullness of the Gifts of the Spirit as given to us through our Blessed Mother. But this can only be done if we are spiritually prepared to receive them.
Through the Sacrament of Confirmation we receive many Gifts, but many fail to "unwrap" them. And still others fail to use them for: "The edifying of the church" (1 Corinthians 14:12), but rather, through fear and a weak faith, "hide" them under a "bushel."
"Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but upon a candlestick, that it may shine to all that are in the house" (Matthew 5:15).
"If any man have ears to hear, let him hear" (Mark 4:23).
The footnote to the above verse reads:
"And let him learn that he is not to bury in unjust silence, the instruction or the examples I (Christ) give him; but must exercise them for the light and direction of others" (Bible de Vence).
This type spiritual direction is not being given by many bishops in today's Church as I shall later in this letter show you.
How does one discern between those who criticize the Church and those whom, through the gift of Wisdom, judge and correct those within the Church?
Those who are critical of the Church are not totally obedient to the Vicar of Christ, whether it be the teachings of prior Popes or the teachings of the current Holy Father. They also have little knowledge of the Scriptures, the Fathers of the Church, and what has been revealed through the Doctors of the Church.
When they do refer to the Scriptures, they do so without a true "sense" of their meaning, misusing God's Word to suit their own will.
This is because they are "liberal" in regard to what they believe the Church should allow and do not themselves wish to be "restricted." Therefore, they seek to convince others to share their "philosophy."
When the occasion presents itself and to gain followers, they make it known that the Church is prejudiced, not just, unsympathetic, and that She denies certain individuals their "rights," as if the Church was instituted by God simply to be a "democracy."
They do this because they have little faith and choose to follow the example and teachings of the world, for the sin of pride has entered into their souls. These individuals, no matter what their "position" in the Church, must be corrected, for they "scandalize" the Lord's "little ones" (the children of God) both within and outside the Church.
Later in this letter I shall show you examples of this type liberalism that has been condemned by many Popes.
Only when one has the Gift of Wisdom and tries to be free of sin, is it morally correct to judge those within the Church:
"For what have I to do to judge them that are without? Do not you judge them that are within? For them that are without, God will judge. Put away the evil one from among yourselves"
(1 Corinthians 5:12-13).
It naturally follows that a person with Wisdom is obedient to the Church and he has a certain knowledge of Her laws, traditions and teachings. Even if he does not have a vast knowledge, he possesses the wisdom and discernment as to how others with greater knowledge should use their gifts.
A person with wisdom also has a strong sense of what is sinful in the Lord's Eyes. With zeal, he desires that no souls be lost through the neglect of Church Leaders, Rulers, and Pastors:
"And his disciples remembered, that it was written: 'The zeal of thy house hath eaten me up'" (John 2:17).
When a person with a strong gift of Wisdom sees in the Church:
Disregard for the Lord's Day as a Day of spiritual rest, lukewarmness, hypocrisy, a denial of sin, a lack of concern for the salvation of souls, presumption of God's mercy, and the loss of the fear of God by not only the sheep, but by bishops and priests within the Church, he knows from God's Word that they have become very worldly, no longer recognize grave sin, and are inviting the Lord's punishment:
"And thou hast said: 'I am without sin and am innocent, and therefore let thy anger be turned away from me.' Behold, I will contend with thee in judgment, because thou hast said: 'I have not sinned'" (Jeremias 2:35).
"For the time is, that judgment should begin at the house of God. And if first at us, what shall be the end of them that believe not the gospel of God? And if the just man shall scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?"
(1 Peter 4:17-18).
Much more could be written, but now I ask you to examine these examples of why the Lord is not pleased with many Rulers of the Church. Although what is presented here centers on the Green Bay Diocese, these examples are reflective of what is being compromised and tolerated in many places in the U.S.A. and elsewhere.
Many bishops, contrary to God's Word, see no sin and choose to either ignore or briefly address issues that they have very little interest in as they consider most people "good," for that is the easy, popular thing to do.
Thus, they cannot be considered true servants of Christ:
"For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? If I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ" (Galatians 1:10).
Many bishops often speak of "love" and to avoid addressing an issue that "disturbs the conscience" of some of their flock, to those who object to their lukewarmness they will quote a Scripture Passage on "love."
This is to imply that those who "object" to what is being done under their "leadership" lack this virtue. No matter the volume of spiritual evidence that is presented to these bishops they believe they can routinely dismiss that "evidence" through the use of certain Scripture Passages that speak of "love."
But let us also examine other aspects of "love." In addition to being "patient" and being "kind, true charity:
"Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth with the truth" (1 Corinthians 13:6).
So those who truly love others are not content with any form of sin or evil and do not choose to compromise, nor do they tolerate wrongdoings at the expense of the truth.
This is why "admonishment" is a "spiritual work of mercy" in the Church. Only by accepting the influence of the Devil do some call this type discernment "judgmental."
Silence is never a virtue when evil is present. Thus, it is a very serious matter when the sheep are scandalized by the conduct of their bishop or their priest.
The Holy Spirit, through St. Paul, warns bishops not to disturb the "conscience" of people, (cause scandal) within or outside the Church, so there is no excuse in the sight of God for those Rulers who avoid the truth:
"But we renounce the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the word of God, but by manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience, in the sight of God" (2 Corinthian 4:2).
Bishops/Shepherds must also be careful not to abuse the power given them by the Lord:
"You ruled over them with rigor, and with a high hand" (Ezechiel 34:4).
When you avoid the truth or dismiss the complaints of your sheep because you are lacking in love for them, you do not please the Lord. When you occupy yourselves more with issues that bring publicity, but ignore or dismiss with shallow words the complaints of your flock, you are not truly serving your flock, you are serving yourself.
As revealed through the Saints:
"The Lord places victim souls in the center of corruption" and the Green Bay Diocese is among those that are the most displeasing to the Lord, although all are greatly lacking the spirituality Jesus desires.
Having tried to reach my bishop (Banks) through numbers of letters containing strong spiritual evidence and/or through a personal visit, only to have my requests ignored or lightly dismissed in one or two sentences in spite of advising him I would be writing the Holy Father, I can only conclude he is firm in his "philosophy" as to the rule of his Diocese and therefore would not mind if his actions were shared with others to test their spiritual value.
Website readers: Bishop Banks is now retired, but my meeting (June 11, 2004) with his successor, Bishop Zubik (now assigned to the Diocese of Pittsburgh or perhaps retired), resulted in the same indifference as concerns the spiritual state of the Green Bay Diocese.
The issues below and those listed in my booklet are addressed to everyone in the Church who has been given the responsibility to provide spiritual care for others.
The bishops who continue to excuse themselves from accepting correction shall receive the severest Judgment from the Lord. These "issues" are:
1. Sunday is no longer dedicated to the Lord. Because of the U.S. Bishop's desire to please man and not God, (Galatians 1:10) against the Scriptures, Saturday has become the "Sabbath" for many in the Church today. Even when Catholic Christians do attend Holy Mass on Sunday, it is no longer the Center of their day - you can tell by the number of sloppy dressers at Mass and their lack of true participation.
"But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18).
Nowhere in the Scriptures is a Saturday Mass approved of to replace the Sunday Mass or practiced, and nor was it approved by the Church for almost two thousand years!
Devoting part, or most of your Sunday to selfish pleasures, is certainly not the sign of a "holy" person. That special Day should be used for developing a closer relationship with the Lord and your family, and doing good works:
"I was in the spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet"
2. The "world" has entered into the Church. In the Green Bay Diocese the worship of the things of this world is so entrenched in the Church that the diocese accepts money from the worldly Green Bay Packer Football organization in the form of a "Bishops Charities Game." This form of "worship" began in 1961 and has caused immeasurable harm to souls of the Flock.
Masses and parish activities are scheduled around Sunday football games. Sports are part of the homilies of both bishop and priest - the flock are taught to be "worldly" and accept the ways of the world!
"No man can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one, and love the other, or he will sustain the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." (Matthew 6:24).
The footnote to the above verse reads:"'Mammon'... That is, riches, worldly interest."
A few years ago, during celebrations in connection with the Super Bowl game (as reported in my local newspaper), Green Bay Packer "fans" mocked the office of the Vicar of Christ and dressing up like a "Pope," a fan "blessed" another fan, to the silence of both bishop and priest in the Greeen Bay Diocese!
Satan lured the Church in this diocese into the world, (that he is the Prince of) by offering money to the Diocese through this "Charity" game.
People at football games shout profanities, dress immodestly, and act like animals - it is certainly not a place to find "spiritual rest."
The "Christians," like the non-believing "pagans" who attend these games, do not attend them to charitably contribute to the support of the Church, they attend them to see a game and participate in the excitement and witness the violence. This is because they love the things of this world and therefore, in reality, lack charity.
Although the "Charities" game is played on a Saturday, to see bishop, priest and religious embracing this type of worldly activity is again, a scandal to the Church, for this inspires the flock to then use Sunday to further "worship" the Green Bay Packers rather than our Lord!
"The Lord will raise thee up to be a holy people to himself, as he swore to thee: if thou keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways" (Deuteronomy 28:9).
"Remember that thou keep holy the sabbath day"
For Christians, this means: "keep Sunday holy."
In my local newspaper (2-3-2001), Bishop Banks was quoted:
"Well, OK. The Packers (football team) are overwhelming. Even I have become a 'cheesehead.' I didn't care much for football back East (Boston), but the moment I got my appointment, I became a 'Packer backer.' I know that's a prerequisite."
Our Blessed Mother is mocked when football announcers describe a "hail Mary pass" or an "immaculate reception." Football teams and players are honored by the press with descriptions like "glorious" and "divine," words which should be reserved for Our Savior!
Games are played on the Lord's Day and other Holy Days, including Christmas Eve! And the Bishops are silent! What scandal this brings to the Church! It can be truly said of those "Christians" who approve of this type behavior, that they are:
"Lovers of pleasures more than of God. Having an appearance indeed of godliness, but denying the power thereof. Now these avoid" (Do not imitate!)
(2 Timothy 3:4-5).
Please note: The above two points may be summed up through another document which is descriptive of what is happening in the nations of the West and in other parts of the world. Pius XI, one of a number of Popes who has written on this subject, has stated:
"The inordinate desire for pleasure, (Concupiscence of the flesh), sows the fatal seeds of division, not only among families, but likewise among states; the inordinate desire for possessions, (concupiscence of the eyes), inevitably turns into class warfare, and into social egotism; the inordinate desire to rule or to domineer over others (pride of life), soon becomes mere party or frictional rivalries, manifesting itself in constant displays of conflicting ambitions and ending in open rebellion...
These unsuppressed desires, this inordinate love of the things of the world, are precisely the source of all international misunderstandings and rivalries, despite the fact that often-times men dare to maintain that acts prompted by such motives are excusable and even justifiable because, forsooth, they were performed for reason of state or the public good."
Website readers: Here we may also add, "some bishops hypocritically dare to maintain... they (actions that result in not keeping the Lord's Day holy) were performed for the good of the Diocese."
(On the Peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ" - Point #24)
What does the Holy Spirit request of the bishops?
A. Based on the spiritual evidence presented in the Holy Bible, through Church tradition, and as explained in Papal Encyclicals and through numbers of Saints, the Diocese of Green Bay should sever all relations with worldly activities, such as the acceptance of the "dirty money" received from the "Bishops Charities Game."
Back in 1991, a local business organization, in an ad, stated:
"Sundays were made for watching Packer football," and how true this is in the Diocese of Green Bay!
B. All Bishops should refrain from vocal support of sporting events on the Lord's Day and other Holy Days of the Church year. Homilies, by both Bishop and priest must center on the Lord's Word with no mention of worldly activities, unless to discourage participation in them. This includes shopping and doing unnecessary work on the Lord's Day. (See Canon Laws 276 and 1247).
C. St. Pius X gave the Church this powerful spiritual advice, but because of many people being obsessed with sports and other worldly pleasures, it is being ignored by today's Church in much of the USA and other parts of the world:
"Parish priests must teach... It therefore prescribes (Council of Trent) that they shall teach the truths of religion on Sundays, and on the more solemn feast days"
The effects of allowing a Saturday Mass in place of the Sunday Mass must be re-addressed by the bishops.
The confusion and spiritual harm this decision has done to the Church is enormous. It has contributed to the flock using Sunday as a day of pleasure or even a workday.
Family members are no longer visited as frequently, including the sick in hospitals and nursing homes. The unity of a family is being destroyed.
For many today, Sunday has become just another day of the week, for when the obligation to attend Mass is transferred to the afternoon or evening of the prior day, the actual "Day" the Lord has set aside for worship, instruction in the teachings of the Faith, and spiritual rest, loses meaning.
Since some use this to justify the Saturday Mass, bishops must ask themselves: Are "Vespers" and the Eucharistic Sacrifice truly spiritually comparable?
3. As to knowledge of the "signs of the times," it is good to reflect on the age of the world, for many within the Church suffer from a "Galileo complex." The wisdom of the Saints and early Fathers of the Church as to the age of the earth is dismissed - it is assumed they lacked the "scientific knowledge" available today.
But these individuals certainly knew that visually, certain rock formations appeared exceedingly old, yet after searching the Scriptures, they believed God's Word rather than man's word and determined the age of the earth to what would today be calculated as approximately six thousand years.
Believed by many in the Church today, are the "theories" of certain scientists who possess little or no spiritual qualifications and whose "findings" have not been confirmed by scientists loyal to our Faith.
Disbelieved by many in the Church today are Biblical Revelations, such as those given through the stigmatist, Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich who was told by Our Lord that her gift of seeing the past, present, and future in mystic visions was greater than that possessed by anyone else in history.
To dismiss all revelations of certain mystics for fear they may unknowingly insert their humanism into what is revealed, is not wisdom, it is foolishness.
Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich has revealed:
"I saw these false computations of the pagan priests, at the same time that I beheld Jesus teaching on the Sabbath at Aruma. Jesus, speaking before the Pharisees of the Call of Abraham and his sojourn in Egypt, exposed the errors of the Egyptian calendar. He told them that the world had now existed 4028 years.
When I heard Jesus say this, He was Himself thirty-one years old."
Let us use another example: We know that Adam was created as a mature adult male. Now if it were possible that we (although not witnessing him being created), saw him 5 minutes after he was created. We would say that he appears to be about 20-30 years of age. However, in reality he was only 5 minutes old!
The same can be said about the world as we know it. It may give the "appearance" of being millions or billions of years old, but in reality the true age of the world is just as Jesus revealed!
Now let us examine the Sacred Scriptures to confirm this revelation."
Firstly, the Holy Spirit reveals:
"Now of these Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying: 'Behold, the Lord cometh with thousands of his saints'" (Jude 1:14).
Now how could Enoch still be "the seventh from Adam" if millions of years have existed since Adam or the creation and existence of man?
And is not the genealogy of Christ, from Abraham, listed in Matthew, chapter 1, and the number of generations listed in verse 17? We could go deeper, but it should not be necessary. As previously mentioned, the Church today has much in common with the Church at the time of Galileo. In Galileo's time, many Leaders in the Church trusted the opinions of the world, and not the Holy Bible.
Today, many within the Church also trust those who love the world, rather than the Word of God.
How ironic it is that many scientists do not trust the faith of the Church and question and dispute such "signs" as The Holy Shroud of Turin, but many in the Church, without questioning their spiritual credentials, completely trust some scientists for nearly every "theory" they present!
A deeper study and understanding as to the true age of the world is extremely important in discerning the "signs of the times."
4. Bishop Banks in a an article, (12-1-2000) in the Green Bay Diocese newspaper, when commenting on his first 10 years as Bishop and asked what it will take to "turn things around," correctly replied: "The Holy Spirit."
But do bishops recognize the Voice of the Holy Spirit when He speaks to them personally or through others? Do they take seriously this Word from Almighty God:
"Today if you shall hear his voice, harden not your hearts." (Hebrews 4:7)
Keeping in mind the Lord's Word as presented in this letter, let us examine other comments made by Bishop Banks, who represents the spiritual state of many bishops:
"If not for the pressing problem of the shortage of priests, we'd be in great shape. We have a good presbyterate. The people are wonderful."
Firstly, the shortage of priests, as many bishops fail to recognize, is due to the fact that the priest himself, because he represents Christ to his sheep, if not viewed as holy, or viewed to be "just like us," is the single most important reason why young men fail to respond to the Lord's Call. Far too many Rulers are more concerned with the "shortage of priests" then they are with the spiritual qualities of the priests in their care!
And because there is "a good presbyterate" and "the people are wonderful," this Bishop sees no need to reform the clergy, eliminate sin, or to work to save souls, for he does not mention these things in that article. His main concern is providing "services" so that the flock can continue in their present spiritual state.
He sees no need for them to strengthen their spiritual lives, for he sees little or no sin in his Diocese. Thus, in spite of his flocks low attendance at Sunday and daily Masses caused by a lack of faith, no mention is made of the need for frequent Confessions, for if there is little or no sin, repentance is "not necessary!"
And there is no need to recommend to his flock ways to deepen their relationship with the Lord, such as using the Lord's Day for spiritual Rest, apart from the things of the world!
Did not Our Lord say to Peter, who was also a Bishop:
"Lovest thou me?...Feed my lambs...Feed my sheep."
But how many sheep are starving, or even dying, because they lack spiritual food! (See: Ezechiel 34:3-4).
Cardinal Ratzinger, (now Pope Benedict XVI) in a long interview with Peter Seewald who recorded the Cardinal's comments for a book he wrote - "Salt of the Earth," although also recognizing the good bishops, has stated:
"The words of the Bible and the Church Fathers ring in my ears, those sharp condemnations of shepherds who are like mute dogs - in order to avoid conflicts, they let the poison spread. Peace is not the first civic duty, and a bishop whose only concern is not to have any problems and to whitewash as many conflicts as possible is an image I find repulsive."
As shown in the additions to the booklet, this servant of the Lord now asks bishops to read:
5. The issue of the teaching role of the newspaper of your Diocese must also be addressed, for it either contributes to an increase in faith, or adds to disobedience in regard to the authority of the Church.
Here are examples of some of the things allowed in The Compass (the newspaper of the Green Bay Diocese), but again, these type things are allowed in many Catholic newspapers and this Diocese is not the exception:
In the April 30, 1999 issue, in an article about a gathering of about 100 people at a local church, for a question and answer session, in response to a question on "Woman's roles," Sister XXX, (a parish XXX at a church in a community in the diocese) was asked about the possibility of women becoming priests, and her answer was:
"Women as priests? Our current Pope (Pope John Paul II) is not inclined to consider this. While this Pope is in Rome, we will not have women clergy or married priests."
Also present was a Father XXX, who is known to favor married priests due to the "shortage of priests." And present was Sister XXX, Chancellor of the Green Bay Diocese, who apparently also agreed with Sr. XXX.
Website readers: This writer has omitted names, and positions within individual parishes for privacy purposes - Bishop Banks was notified in a letter from this writer concerning these examples and given the names of the parties involved, although, as mentioned, these names were already listed in the article in The Compass. Bishop Banks did not respond to my letter.
The above example is not unusual, for the editors of this "Catholic" newspaper give every indication of favoring Sister XXX's opinion. For within the "Letters to the Editor" have come direct attacks (without a response from editor or bishop), against the Holy Father in regard to his Pronouncement in his Apostolic Letter of May 22, 1994: "Ordinatio Sacerdotalis," in which he stated:
"I declare that the Church has no authority whatsoever to confer priestly ordination on women, and that this judgment is to be definitively held by all the Church's faithful."
The above type "approved" scandal shows how so many so-called "Catholic" newspapers have become secularized and worldly, for they openly teach disobedience to the Church and the Vicar of Christ, and do so without fear of those given the authority to protect the flock.
Another example of this type disobedience, that this time stems from intellectual pride, is the priest-writer, Father Richard McBrien, who teaches "theology" at the University of Notre Dame and is allowed to express his mixture of truth & error in the newspaper of the Diocese of Green Bay, as well as many other "Catholic" newspapers!
Since the bishops have already condemned (see above "truth & error") some of Father McBrien's writings, it makes no sense that they would then carry his column in the newspaper of their diocese! But some do! Therefore they give the appearance of someone who does not know what he is is doing!
Although Father McBrien's writings "disturb the conscience" (cause scandal) to some of the flock, their complaints are routinely ignored, perhaps because he is: "well liked by priests."
(Website readers: Bishop Banks gave that reply to a friend of mine who complained about Father Richard McBrien's writings).
Here is an example (a letter to the editor in the March 10, 2000 issue of The Compass) that represents the feelings of those in the Church in search of the whole truth:
"It is difficult for me to understand why you continue to publish Fr. Richard McBrien's column in THE COMPASS. Are you condoning his regular denigration of Pope John Paul, his theology, often at odds with the Magisterium, and now, his refusal to obey the Vatican rule for teachers of theology?
Wasn't disobedience and pride the original sin? Pride makes us blind and deaf to Truth. You bear a heavy responsibility to present to the people of this diocese, authentic Church teachings, and not confuse them with your insistence on "diversity."
This letter, as others, went unanswered by editor and bishop, for scandal is apparently not recognized as a grave evil in the Green Bay Diocese (See: Canon Law 392).
Website readers: Do Bishops inform the Holy Father as to the type writers they allow in their Dioceses' newspaper? We know they do not. And we know when the Bishop of a Diocese is criticized in a letter to the editor, an immediate defensive response is given by the editor. However, why then is not the Pope defended?
Some years ago, a very kind and generous retired bishop and a dear friend of this writer, living in residence at a local parish I used to belong to, often expressed his disapproval of The Compass and informed parishioners not to read it.
This newspaper has not changed and cannot be truly called "orthodox." This bishop's name was the late Bishop John Grellinger. Unlike many Shepherds in today's Church during Holy Mass, he was more aware of the presence of God then he was of the presence of the people.
This is because he had true devotion to Our Blessed Mother, and often was seen praying the Holy Rosary in preparation for the Eucharistic Sacrifice.
How seldom in today's Church do we witness Shepherds spiritually preparing themselves for Mass and giving thanks to Almighty God after Mass! For many Shepherds today diminish the importance of the word "Sacrifice" as relates to Holy Mass and prefer to describe it as a "Celebration" or simply, "Eucharist."
Now the word "celebrate" means to "honor, to commemorate, to praise publicly," but above all, for the priest, it means, to "solemnize," that is "to make serious or grave."
But how many Shepherds reduce the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to a mere "opportunity" for their sheep to "socialize" or participate in a "celebration" orchestrated to be pleasing to the eye and the ear! (See Cannon Laws: 760 & 909).
The reason why only an estimated 5 to 10% of Catholics even read their Diocese newspaper is because truth is not a priority in it.
Also in regard to "teaching," it is good to examine what is allowed in our Catholic schools and Universities. It is acknowledged that every teacher, in every classroom, teaches children by word and example.
But is every Catholic, (including those from religious orders) and non-Catholic teacher, at every level of education, required to sign a pledge at contract time, similar to the following?
A. Catholic teachers:
"Out of love for the Church and concern for the welfare of the students I teach by word and example, I pledge to remain obedient to the rules of this learning institution that is under the authority of the Bishop of this Diocese, and be obedient to the Magisterium of the Church, and to the best of my ability, truly practice my Faith."
B. Non-Catholic teachers:
"Out of respect for the Catholic Church and concern for the welfare of the students I teach by word and example, I pledge to remain obedient to the rules of this learning institution that is under the authority of the Bishop of this Diocese, and refrain from speaking out against the teachings of the Catholic Church and stating any personal views of religion which are not in accordance with the traditions and teachings of the Catholic religion."
What teacher who truly loved, and/or had respect for the Church would object to this pledge? Can this be enforced? Certainly it can, if charity, patience, and justice are practiced by school administrators, Boards of Education, and college and university Trustees, and a fair hearing is given to the individual who is accused of breaking this pledge to the point of scandal.
(The accused should also be given the right to personally appeal to the bishop of the Diocese or his appointed representative). Rarely, should the bishop have to be involved, but he must always remain the final authority, keeping the issue as private as possible, but without fear of making it public if the situation demands it.
Is the bishops current plan of action in this matter only designed for "appearances"? In the name of "academic freedom," Catholic schools, colleges, and universities must not be granted the status of "islands" that are exempt from the authority of the Church.
Why limit to those who teach theology and/or Church history at upper levels of education requirements that should be expected of every professor and teacher, at every level of Catholic education?
Do not students and/or parents also have a right to expect their financial sacrifices for education at Catholic schools, colleges or universities is being properly satisfied through every instructor?
If not, why is that institution given the honor of being called "Catholic"?
Also, every effort must be given to hire those of our Catholic Faith, for there must always be a clear distinction between secular and Catholic institutions.
Is this not the reason they were founded and originally, totally, or almost totally, staffed by those from Religious orders? (See Canon Laws 218 and 803-812).
In another matter related to the above, shortly before the recent elections, a wealthy U.S. Senator running for re-election, (Senator Herb Kohl - retired, 2013) through an Educational Foundation he founded and is president of, donated $1000 to a local Catholic high school teacher in the form of a "Teacher Award," and $1000 to the high school where she was employed.
(In order for a teacher to receive this financial award from his Foundation, a letter of recommendation must be sent to the Foundation to form the "application").
This Senator, was well known for his pro-abortion views, even partial birth abortions.
When the award was given, a picture of this Senator along with the teacher receiving the award was published in a local newspaper. Since the elections were drawing near, this picture gave that Senator a big boost with potential Catholic voters, for they naturally were impressed with his "generosity." (He was also known to donate to other schools and non-profit organizations).
But what is wrong with this in relation to the Church and this "Catholic" school? This Senator, then easily won re-election, with the help of a large majority of "Catholic" voters in the Green Bay Diocese and other areas in the state of Wisconsin.
However, in truth, this Senator should not be called "generous" or "charitable" - we may say the same for any politician who favors abortion, as well as those "Catholics" who vote for them.
For in voting to execute unborn and partially born human beings, he distinctly identifies himself as one who is lacking the virtue of charity!
For if you were truly charitable, you would never approve of the deliberate killing of defenseless human life! And to accept money from such a man or through a Foundation he founded and contributed to for tax write-offs is a scandal to the Church and that school!
In spite of three detailed letters I sent to that teacher & the Principle of that "Catholic" high school, and my letter to the Director of Total Catholic Education for the Green Bay Diocese, every question I asked, was either ignored or not fully addressed.
One of my requests, was that the monies received by that teacher and the school be returned to the Senator with the same publicity that it had when received, and that this should be done as soon as possible, before the elections.
For in doing this, it would have publicly reinforced the teachings of the Church, and placed shame on this man and those who share his views on what constitutes human life.
In a return letter from that Director, I was given a range of excuses as to why these type funds should be accepted by students, teachers, and schools. Although my letters dealt with scandal and cited a number of Passages from the Scriptures, this Director cited no Scriptures to back up his "opinions."
Among his "excuses" was the following:
"We do not ask every donor to the Church and every donor to our Catholic schools to provide a litmus test or proof that they have taken no stance against the teachings of the Catholic Church."
However, it was already well known that by this Senator's pro-death votes in Congress, he had already taken a stance against the teachings of the Church!
"Many honor the person of him that is mighty, and are friends of him that giveth gifts" (Proverbs 19:6).
This writer then wrote a letter to Bishop Banks and supplied him with copies of the other letters I wrote and again reminded him of his responsibilities in this matter (he already had the Director's letter).
The bishop's response to all the spiritual evidence I presented within a total of five letters on the Scriptures, Catholic schools, and the teachings of the Church regarding pro-life action, was written in just two sentences:
"Let me just say that the pro-life cause is not helped by the kind of letters you sent me. As your bishop, I refer you to Paul's letter to the Galatians, chapter 5, verse 22."
That verse reads: "But the fruit of the Spirit is, charity, joy, peace, patience, benignity, goodness, longanimity..."
Here is another example of a person not addressing the issues involved, as more than "pro-life" issues were discussed in my letters. Simply to state a disagreement, and then refer to a Scripture verse without explaining how It applies to the issues presented is not a reasonable response. Nor was it impartial.
For example, if a mathematician laid out examples of how he arrived at a certain formula and proved how his calculations work, and another individual simply voiced his or her disagreement and referred to a portion of a different formula without describing the relationship or proving the calculation, it would hold no weight among those in the field of mathematics.
Thus, we may conclude that Bishop Bank's response lacks explanation and is not worthy of someone in that Holy Office.
Is the pro-life cause helped more by "tolerating" scandal and avoiding the Truth?
The pro-life presidential candidate (George W. Bush) lost the state of Wisconsin by about 5700 votes in the 2000 campaign. If this "dirty money" had been returned with the same publicity it was received, this writer would have then sent those news clippings to other newspapers in the state (with greater circulations) and this states 11 electoral votes almost assuredly, would have gone to a man whom (to a far greater degree than his opponent) believes in protecting human life.
And how can bishops still consider their Flock to be "good" when so many of them vote into office politicians who approve of the execution of innocent unborn human beings?
In his letter, it obvious the bishop, as did the Principle of the high school and the Director, disagreed with the late Bishop James T. McHugh of Rockville Centre, Long Island whom this writer also quoted in one of my letters, for they did not even mention his opinions.
I quoted Bishop McHugh as follows:
"It would be foolish and counterproductive to provide a platform to those who favor or support a public policy of abortion on demand.... It would also be extremely misleading to provide such persons a platform to promote their views, even on other issues, least they claim that the Church somehow implicitly tolerates their rejection of Church teaching on pro-life issues."
Is not accepting money and having your picture taken with this politician helping provide a "platform" for him and "tolerating" his rejection of Church teachings? (See Canon Law 803-2).
However, in the same manner that Bishop Banks "washed his hands" and refused to address the spiritual issues within my booklet and the other letters I sent him, (see his letter of June 4, 1999) so also did he dismiss all the evidence I presented in this matter. Again, he failed to see that it was he, and not this writer, who was being "tested" by Our Lord.
Website readers: Our Lord Desires that those who truly love Him examine the source of all gifts, and pray for wisdom and discernment, and remember that it is He who provides for us and rewards us, and to place our trust in Him, and not in the things the "world" offers.
In April, 1996, Gloria Steinem a "feminist leader" who is well known for her pro-abortion views, spoke at St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin. This also caused scandal in the Green Bay Diocese, for she was given a good deal of press coverage.
But this scandal, as with the others which have occurred in this Diocese, as listed in this letter, are routinely "tolerated," met with silence, or dismissed, no matter the volume of spiritual evidence presented, (Auxiliary Bishop Morneau), was then and is now, on the Board of Trustees).
Website readers: The extremely pro-abortion Michelle Obama & Hillary Clinton were also allowed to speak at St. Norbert College during the 2008 Presidential campaign.
In the name of "academic freedom," this "Catholic" College is allowed by the diocese to have these type speakers, for St. Norbert College is known to be "very liberal" as this writer was recently told by a person from the XXXXX office of that College.
But again, the Green Bay Diocese is far from being the only diocese that compromises with the teachings of the world, while accepting the fact that the world seldom, if ever, compromises with the teachings of the Church!
Sadly, it can be said that the leaders and many other members of this diocese accurately fit this description and deserve the consequences, unless they begin to change and truly be converted:
"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot. I would thou wert cold, or hot.
But because thou art lukewarm and neither cold not hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth.
Because thou sayest: I am rich and made wealthy and have need of nothing. Knowest not, that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked." (Apocalypse 3:15-17).
The language of the Scriptures is another very important spiritual matter not being addressed in the manner desired by Jesus. Pope Pius XII has written:
"It is absolutely wrong and forbidden either to narrow inspiration to certain passages of Holy Scripture, or to admit that the sacred writer has erred."
He also advised following the recommendation St. Augustine made to Catholic scholars that stressed the importance of the study of ancient languages, and recourse to the original texts.
In addition, Pius XII taught the importance of scholars having a knowledge of not only Latin, but of Hebrew and Greek, as well as other oriental languages:
"This indeed St. Jerome strove earnestly to achieve, as far as the science of his time permitted."
So bishops must be very careful in allowing certain changes, (based on private opinions or a desire to pacify certain "rights" organizations that accuse the Church of "discrimination") for in truth, due to their pride, it is these "protesters" who are prejudiced against the Church!
No saint or person who truly loves the Church, has ever been ofended by the language of the Scriptures, for they are: "Inspired of God" (2 Timothy 3:16).
Therefore, that "language" must be interpreted only by truly knowledgeable and wise Catholic scholars who are given this task through the authority of the Church.
Of course other Pope's Encyclicals also apply. (This writer also does not discount the spiritual value of the other writing of His Holiness, Pope John Paul II, but assumes you are already aware of his teachings and Encyclicals).
There are many Leaders/Shepherds in today's Church who are "readers," and open to many new "theories" or opinions on a wide range of subjects, no matter the spiritual credentials of the author. But against God's Word, they express little interest in the teachings of the early Fathers of the Church or the Encyclicals of past Popes, and thus lack discernment as to the "signs of the times":
"Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle" (2 Thessalonians 2:14).
"You know how to discern the face of the heavens, and of the earth; but how is it that you do not discern this time?" (Luke 12:56).
This writer, following the example of Our Lord who explained Parables to the Apostles, has tried to explain to you the Things of the Lord's Spirit, as written in the enclosed booklet. For there will be no new "Springtime" in the Church without true repentance, and there can be no repentance without acknowledging the existence of the sins of the Shepherds and Leaders of the Flock.
If the Leaders of the Flock continue to laugh & exclaim: "I am without sin, and am innocent, and therefore let thy anger be turned away from me," the Chastisement will come in it's full intensity. (See Canon Laws 959 & 988).
Although in the last century, mankind experienced two World Wars, numbers of smaller wars, the Great Depression, & several famines, many today foolishly and without fear, continue to presume God's Mercy:
"For because sentence is not speedily pronounced against the evil, the children of men commit evils without any fear" (Ecclesiastes 8:11).
At Fatima, Our Blessed Mother warned mankind: "The war is going to end, but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out... (God will) punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father."
But many within the Church did not heed her requests. She also said:
"In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph."
Is Russia truly "converted"? Are we now living in that "period of peace" she told us of, or is it the "false peace" she spoke of at La Salette? Has mankind and especially members of the Church truly ceased "offending God"?
Is faith in God and in His Church stronger than it was before World War II?
The answers lie in the Scriptures, this letter, and the enclosed booklet, but will these merciful warnings and Messages as revealed through the Holy Spirit, also be basically ignored, as were Our Lady's requests at Fatima, Akita and other places in the world?
What bishop has repented like Peter? Is not the Lord now also "looking" at His Shepherds in today's Church? But how many times have they also denied Him and forgotten His Word?
"And the Lord, turning, looked on Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord... And Peter going out, wept bitterly" (Luke 22:61-62).
What Leader/Shepherd, out of love for his flock, follows this example of Our Lord?:
"Who (Jesus) in the days of his flesh, with a strong cry and tears, offering up prayers and supplications to him" (Hebrews 5:7).
What are the "Things" the Holy Spirit asks of the bishops?
Website readers: Here this writer also acknowledged in my letter that some bishops do not have complete authority to act (Titular, and Auxiliary Bishops), but they can still voice their approval to the following Things "in spirit." I also acknowledged that the good bishops will have no difficulty agreeing to the Holy Spirit's "Requests."
In addition, this servant of the Lord also stated:
"Bishops who wish to continue practicing the things not pleasing to the Lord as listed in this letter and the booklet, will be 'offended,' and will predictably act according to a certain pattern.
They will attempt to discredit this writer, and/or excuse themselves with 'double talk' while not fully addressing all, or part of the issues presented, or disbelieving this person, attempt to go up against the Spirit of Truth, who gives me Counsel."
Where do I not speak the Truth? Discernment is difficult for many Rulers because sin has clouded their minds. They have become used to having a "red carpet" laid out for them when they visit parishes, and being honored and receiving praise from those around them.
Although it is welcomed, this servant of the Lord does not simply desire your "blessing and prayers" for my wife Loretta and my Mission. I desire (because the Lord desires it) that out of love for Christ and His Church, you come to realize your sins and the sins of the shepherds in your charge, who because of your example, have by word and deed, caused many of their sheep to "lose their way."
These are the "Things" the Holy Spirit requests from the bishops in order for a true "Renewal" to take place in the Church:
A. Make a sincere Confession every week and speak of it to your flock, for if it is requested of your priests, how much more should it be required of bishops?
Did not some of the great Saints desire to reconcile with the Lord each week?
B. Develop a true devotion to our Blessed Mother and request it of your priests and the Flock. When the prayers of the Rosary are said sincerely from your heart, you will not fall into error.
C. Fulfill the Requirements listed on pages 7 & 8 of this letter.
D. Re-study the spiritual effects the "Saturday Mass" has had on the flock regarding the meaning of "Sunday Rest." (See pages 6-8 of this letter, and the Fourteenth Message to the Churches).
You must always remember:
"Let not the discourse of the ancients escape thee, for they have learned of their fathers. For of them thou shalt learn understanding, and to give answer in time of need" (Ecclesiasticus 8:11-12).
Also see pages 8 & 9 of this letter.
F. Correct the Editors of the newspaper of your Diocese and do not allow editorials, columnists, letters to the editor, or any articles that go against the teachings of the Church as given through previous Popes, or by Pope John Paul II. For any that are allowed, an immediate correction must be given, either by you, an appointed representative, or the editors.
Do not allow any "feminists" that favor abortion to voice opinions which label the Church as "discriminating" against their "rights," for that is pride speaking, and not the Holy Spirit.
Caution your editors to stay away from "sports & politics," and to stress moral and social issues. Advise them of the need to teach by orthodox means, and not worldly means. (See: Ninth Message to the Churches, plus pages 10-12 of this letter, and Canon Law 392).
G. So as not to continue to confuse the flock, immediately cancel the column written by Father Richard McBrien, who teaches "theology" at the University of Notre Dame. Do not allow those of his type "philosophy" to be carried as a columnist. (See pages 3 and 11 of this letter).
H. Make it known that no priest or Religious in your diocese is to speak openly, or write any opinion that favors women priests or married priests. Immediately correct them and advise them to pray for wisdom and understanding and then strive to acquire the virtue of humility, and learn obedience. (See: Ninth Message to the Churches, page 10 of this letter, and Canon Laws 277and 749-1).
I. Seriously consider requiring each instructor in Catholic schools, Colleges and Universities in your diocese to sign a pledge similar to those listed on page 12 of this letter.
J. Discontinue allowing teachers, and religious institutions in your diocese from applying for, and accepting awards or gifts from any individual known to be in favor of abortion, or the killing of an unborn or partially born human being, no matter what the stage of life.
This also includes Foundations which are headed by, or formed by, individuals who favor those things. (See pages 13-15 of this letter).
K. Forbid all priests, Religious, and members of your flock from belonging to the organizations called "Future Church" and "Call To Action" (or any other organization that favors women or married priests and/or goes against the teachings of the Church).
Bishops should also consider supplying copies of new Papal Encyclicals to parishes (to be either mailed to parishioners or inserted in parish bulletins). This can also be done for past Encyclicals of His Holiness and previous Popes, should misunderstandings still be present (See: Canon Law 761).
L. Do not allow any Catholic learning institution in your diocese to present as a speaker, any politician, or person who favors a "pro-death" position of any kind, or speaks against the authority of the Church on any subject.
Immediately correct and admonish those who allow this on school or campus property. Your fear of the Lord should far exceed your fear of teachers, professors or school administrators! (See pages 13-15 of this letter).
M. Be very cautious about revising the language of the Scriptures to appease those who, because of pride, use the Church to accuse, rather than seeking the humility to obey.
Be obedient to Rome or your flock will not be obedient to you! (See page 15 of this letter, and Canon Law 380).
For example: "Presented to Father _______ on this __ day of ______, _______, with the Blessing and approval of Bishop _______ of the Diocese of _______.
Ask them to frame these documents and place them near their desk or study area. (Many priests will welcome a simplified Guide for these often confusing times). Do the same for yourselves if you desire. Ask them if they are following these "Guides" when you visit their parish.
O. Read again and again, this letter and the booklet and it's additions, and study this Counsel and the booklet's warnings and Messages for the good of your soul and the souls in your care, for they come through the help of Our Mother Mary and the Guidance of the Holy Spirit, and are Messages of Love:
"Such as I love, I rebuke and chastise. Be zealous therefore, and do penance. Behold, I stand at the gate, and knock. If any man shall hear my voice, and open to me the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that shall overcome, I will give to sit with me in my throne; as I also have overcome, and am set down with my Father in his throne" (Apocalypse 3:19-21).
Above are the "Requests" Almighty God asks of you if you desire to become more pleasing to him, as revealed to this person through the Gift of Wisdom. However, do not think life will then become easier, for as you know, when you truly seek to accomplish God's Holy Will, persecutions will follow:
"Remember my word that I said to you: 'The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you'" (John 15:20).
The Church must be purified to be truly pleasing to the Lord, so do not be surprised by the trials you will undergo (and may be undergoing now) until this renewal is brought about.
Some will understand what I speak of here, and others will laugh at what is revealed:
"Many shall be chosen, and made white, and shall be tried as fire; and the wicked shall deal wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the learned shall understand" (Daniel 12:10).
So that you may know more of this person, I shall try to give you an added glimpse of the motives I have in writing you. Of course, I am motivated by my wife Loretta, a "victim" soul, in whom Christ is present in a special way, for He is using her to suffer for the good of His Church. All that is accomplished in the Renewal of the Church is in a great measure, due to her sufferings and those like her (see Prophecy).
Do we believe Loretta will be healed from her "incurable disease" should the Church change and become more pleasing to the Lord? Yes, we do, but we also trust and believe in the prayer Jesus taught to all mankind: "Thy Will be done," so we are not naive as to the personal trials and disappointments the Lord allows to test His children.
Since 1993, I have written many within the Church, but few have accepted the Lord's Word. However, I believe (hope) things will soon change for the better.
May God Bless each of you, granting you Wisdom and the courage to act, for the good of your soul, and for the good of the Church.
Website readers: After 23 years of great sufferings, my dear wife, "Saint" Loretta passed away on April 22, 2009. Contrary to what we hoped for, God's Holy Will was to heal her in Heaven and not while she was upon this earth. Since she suffered so much, my family and I know this was a blessing.
However, I have been blessed again with another beautiful woman who is also a special Gift from God - we married in 2011.
As you are aware, God's Timing is not always our timing. We also know that God desires sincere and true worship and not lukewarmness!
Change is coming and His Holy Will will be accomplished! So do not be discouraged, the Church will be renewed and again be made pleasing to Jesus!
(It is also hoped that the placement of this letter, and this newly formatted website on the Internet helps that "change" come about).
Note: I wrote the previous bishop of the Green Bay Diocese (Bishop Zubik) a number of times, and even met with him to discuss the things written about in this letter, but like Bishop Banks, he saw no sin in his lukewarm manner of providing spiritual leadership for a diocese.
May God bless you and your family in a special way, and always keep you safe.

Most Reverent David L. Ricken DD, JCL
Bishop of Green Bay
You should find the important letter I sent to all U.S. Bishops to be of spiritual interest to you. Using the Green Bay Diocese as an example, the accepted scandals and immorality present in your diocese and many others are clearly defined in this letter. I would appreciate your response and comments.
It may be found at this address:
Website readers: The title of this category was revised in Jan. 2013 from Worldly Diocese to Scandal-G. Bay Diocese:
Thank you, and God bless you,

GREEN BAY DIOCESE
To date you have not responded to my letter (e-mail) of Dec. 16, 2009 (see below copy). I need to hear from you very soon as I do not wish to contact the rest of the U.S. Bishops about this matter without first receiving your response. However, this I must do if I do not hear from you in the near future. This is the letter I will be sending them:
This is not a light matter to be ignored or easily dismissed in a few sentences. I have received Apostolate blessings from Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI. My Mission also has the blessing of the late Cardinal Stickler. You should find the letter I sent to all U.S. Bishops back in 2001 to be of spiritual interest to you. This letter has been expanded & is now online. A world-wide publicity campaign is now in progress, starting with the U.S. bishops.
Using the Green Bay Diocese as an example, the accepted scandals and immorality present in this diocese and many others are clearly defined in this letter. I would appreciate your response and comments.
(Bishop Ricken of the Green Bay Diocese, who is my bishop, has already been notified, but has yet to respond to my e-mail. However, since this letter pertains to all bishops, a response is respectfuly requested from each of you).
Being aware that many prayers are necessary, but also being aware that the fruit of prayer is "action," this question remains to be of grave importance to those who are spiritually concerned about the future of the Catholic Church in the USA and other parts of the world:
Which bishops have a greater love for the Lord & His Church than they do for their "brother" bishops, and are therefore willing to speak-up, take action, & change the Church & make it more pleasing to Almighty God?
As you are aware, Rulers of the Church must never forget:
"Horribly and speedily will he appear to you: for a most severe judgment shall be for them that bear rule. For to him that is little, mercy is granted: but the mighty shall be mightily tormented"

I hope to hear from you very soon, but please first read my letter.
Thank you and God bless you,

Please note: On February 1, 2010 I also sent a certified letter to Bishop Ricken about these moral issues in case my e-mails were not passed on to him. It was to remain private, but since he has yet to respond, a copy of my letter is posted here so more members of the Church, as well as the public can be better informed of this grave moral matter (addresses and phone numbers have been omitted for privacy purposes):
February 1, 2010
David L. Ricken
Bishop of Green Bay
I have tried to reach you through two e-mails (copies attached), but they either have not been passed on to you, or you have refused to address their contents. I suspect they simply have not been given to you. The other day, because I did not receive any responses from you, I suddenly remembered that Bishop Zubick told me that a number of e-mails I sent him were also not given to him. (As you are aware, you receive a notice when e-mails do not go through, and I received no such notices).
I also used the web page that contained at least one of your personal e-mail addresses, and that certainly must be a working web page as I received copies of my e-mails. (Website readers: I now believe Bishop Ricken actually did receive my e-mails, but chose to ignore them).
First, let me explain a few things about myself. I will be 70 years old on February 5th. I am a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Appleton. Since childhood I have always been interested in, and defensive of the Church. I was married to Loretta Eslinger from Little Chute for almost 43 years until she died April 22, 2009. She was a "victim soul," and went through great sufferings from Huntington's Disease for the last 23 years of our marriage. A Prophecy given for us is explained on my website in the category: "Saint" Loretta.
In 1987, as I was studying to be "Baptized in the Spirit," I received the Gift ofWisdom in miraculous way as I felt an intense, deep, and beautiful feeling across my entire chest for about 5 minutes when I meditated upon this Gift. (Later I came to believe this "sign" was given to me so that no matter whom I were to go up against, I would have confidence that I am expressing the Lord's Will in regard to the grave sins being committed within His Church). I then began a deep study of the Sacred Scriptures.
Loretta & I received Apostolic blessings from Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI after they were given copies of some of my writings. The late Cardinal Stickler also gave me his blessing after reviewing some of my writings and also blessed my Mission which is to help make others more aware of the grave sins being committed by members of the Church.
I have posted many of my writings on my website: CATHOLIC MESSAGES USA.com and have used the Green Bay Diocese as an example of why the Lord is not pleased with His Church in many parts of the USA, and in other nations of the West. I have previously written Bishop Banks about these moral issues and met with Bishop Zubick and corresponded with him (I had yet to post the previously mentioned writings to my website). However, they failed to understand the gravity of these issues and no changes were made in the manner in which they led our diocese.
They gave me the impression that certain "traditions" had a firm hold on their beliefs, and they were not going to go against what has been done in the past, although it certainly brought into question the degree of love they had for Christ and His Church. The respect they had for their "brother" bishops apparently far exceeded their love for Jesus, although He clearly explains that to be His "brother" you must do the "Will of My Father."
As you are aware, in order for the Church to be truly renewed, change must come from within. But since many bishops fail to see the need for change according to the Guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Church remains in a lukewarm spiritual state. They become irritated when faults are brought to their attention that reflect upon their leadership, and therefore choose to either ignore them, or carry on as if they do not exist, even though millions of souls are being affected and the Lord holds them far more accountable since they are the "rulers" of the Church.
Your Excellency is of course, rather "new' in your position as Bishop of the Green Bay Diocese, and you cannot be held to the same accountability as your predecessors in regard to following certain "traditions" and refusing to address certain moral issues that I, and perhaps others have (at least in part), presented to you concerning the diocese of Green Bay, as well as other parts of today's Church.
I know that through one letter, many questions you may have about my intentions and Mission will not be answered, therefore if it is agreeable to you, I ask that we meet in private so that you may receive a clearer picture of just who I am.
On a personal basis, I do not wish to "broadcast" my meeting(s) with you and prefer to keep them private. I am not looking for any "glory" or seeking a following, I simply am doing what I believe is the Lord's Holy Will. Should we meet, we will know in a very short time if we are in agreement as to what changes need to be done within the diocese. However, first it would be better if you would read what I have written on my website about the Diocese of Green Bay and other dioceses in the category: (Website readers: The title was revised in Jan. 2013 to: Scandal-G. Bay Diocese). I also realize that it will take some time before you are able to thoroughly study and address these moral issues, and therefore I do not expect a quick response.
Should we come to an agreement about how "valid" these moral issues are, I will of course change the format of that category and re-title it: RENEWED DIOCESE. However, I cannot, and will not take credit for any positive responses as they will come through the Spirit of Almighty God, and accomplished through the work of His servant, Bishop Ricken.
I, and many others who have viewed my website await your response. Thank you for your time, and I hope and pray that we become good friends and you come to fully understand my Mission. God bless you,
The second and last certified letter I sent to Bishop Ricken:
April 22, 2010
Most Reverend David L. Ricken
Bishop of Green Bay
Since I have yet to receive your response to my letter of Feb. 1, 2010, I am contacting you again. Having access to your calendar on the website of the diocese, I realize you have had, and continue to have, a very busy schedule, but as stated in my previous letter, the subjects I am writing about are of great moral importance and therefore I am asking you again for your response.
As you are aware, Our Lord is not a respecter of persons, but considers us all to be equal in His Eyes (See: Acts 10:34-35). However, thus far you have not followed His example. If you had, you would have treated this person in the same manner you treat a cardinal, another bishop, or a priest. However, you chose to treat me in an uncharitable manner, which is not worthy of your high Office in the Church. It also shows you lack moral courage and the wisdom to respond to what has been revealed to this person by the Holy Spirit.
And it shows that you refuse to listen to the Voice of Our Lord and choose to remain in a lukewarm spiritual state.
Therefore you conform to what the Lord reveals of the lukewarm. You believe that since you are the "Bishop of the Green Bay Diocese," you are therefore "above correction." But you have forgotten who made you bishop!
You declare yourself to be "wealthy," having all the necessary spiritual resources to effectively lead our diocese. You assume you are not in need of any additional spiritual advice, even if it comes from the Lord Himself! Therefore His Voice you ignore, and you refuse to open your door to Him. You refuse to dine with Him and have no need of His Counsel!
"But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest I am rich, and made wealthy, and have need of nothing and knowest not, that thou are wretched and miserable, and poor and blind and naked. I counsel thee to buy of me gold fire tried, that thou mayest be made rich, and mayest be clothed in white garments, and that the shame of thy nakedness may not appear, and anoint thy eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see.
Such as I love, I rebuke and chastise. Be zealous therefore, and do penance. Behold I stand at the gate and knock. If any man shall hear my voice and open to me the door, I will come to him and sup with him, and he with me" (Apocalypse 3:16-20).
It is no wonder that St. John Chrysostom stated:
"The road to Hell is paved with the skulls of bishops."
For many bishops, as well as priests, because they refuse to be corrected, are guilty of one of the deadliest of all sins. That of pride!
You refuse to address the sins I have made known to you because you cannot intelligently address them. For what I have revealed to you, through the Spirit of Almighty God,
is based upon His Word from the Sacred Scriptures, the Encyclicals of various Popes, Church documents, and the writings of great saints.
You may fool the vast majority of the souls in your care, but you do not fool the Lord, and you will face a great judgment, for you have been told of God's Will and refuse to follow It:
"And that servant who knew the will of his lord, and prepared not himself, and did not according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes"
Have you no fear of the Lord? Do you not know you will face a far greater judgment because you are a ruler in the Church?:
"Horribly and speedily will he appear to you, for a most severe judgment shall be for them that bear rule. For to him that is little, mercy is granted, but the mighty shall be mightily tormented. For God will not except any man's person, neither will he stand in awe of any man's greatness, for he made the little and the great, and hath equally care of all. But a greater punishment is ready for the more mighty" (Wisdom 6:6-9).
Of course, you, like many others who know little of the charismatic Gift of Wisdom, may accuse this person of being "judgmental." However, should you do this, it will again reveal your lack of "knowledge of the Scriptures" (See Matthew 22:29).
For the purpose of this Gift is revealed in the Book of Wisdom:
"And who shall know thy thought, except thou give wisdom, and send thy Holy Spirit from above. And so the ways of them that are upon earth may be corrected, and men may learn the things that please thee?" (Wisdom 9:17-18).
Do you not know we have the right to judge those within the Church?:
"But now I have written to you, not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother, be a fornicator, or covetous, or a server of idols, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner, with such a one, not so much as to eat. For what have I to do to judge them that are without? Do not you judge them that are within? For them that are without, God will judge. Put away the evil one from among yourselves" (1 Corinthians 5:11-13).
Am I discussing "holiness" with a man who does not truly practice his religion, and therefore my words will not be understood?:
"Treat not with a man without religion concerning holiness, nor with an unjust man concerning justice" (Ecclesiasticus 37:12).
Your Excellency may think my words to be "harsh," but far, far harsher will be your judgment from Our Lord if you continue to ignore what has been revealed to me and refuse to act upon His Word for today's Church. You cannot have it both ways, either you are for the Lord and His Church, or you are against Him and are causing great harm to His Church by contributing to the loss of many, many souls. (See Matthew 12:30).
A lukewarm shepherd cannot be a "good shepherd." Please reconsider your actions and respond with the humility the Lord expects of you. Thank you.
Bishops, priests, Religious, and laypeople who are undergoing great interior sufferings and confusion will find this article very helpful:
Should you choose to write your bishop about this letter or any of these other individuals, it is always best to be respectful. Thank you.
(You may quote any portion of this letter. In addition, your prayers will help motivate them to take actions that are pleasing to God).
(Please note: For mail sent to the Vatican do not write "Italy" anywhere on the envelope. If you do, your letter will go through the Italian mail service, and it is very slow. The Vatican is an independent country, and has its own mail service).
