Pilgrimage to Santiago - Personal account of a Canadian couple's second pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago, from St Jean Pied de Port to Arca. With photos.

"In approximately 33 AD, Jesus of Nazareth was condemned to death, crucified on Mount Golgotha and buried in a tomb that had been excavated in a nearby garden. After three days he rose from the dead. From this moment the Tomb of the Resurrection became the central place of faith for all Christianity."

Shrine Of Our lady Of Good Help - "Known as 'The Chapel' by the local inhabitants, the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help is built directly over the site where Mary 'The Queen of Heaven' appeared to Adele Brise, a young Belgian immigrant woman, in October of 1859, one year after the Marian apparitions occurred at Lourdes."
Commentary: I have visited this Shrine, and although it is currently rather small, it is a very beautiful, holy place where you will find a great feeling of peace.  Why it took 150 years to be approved does not say much for the faith of the bishops who have ruled in the Green Bay Diocese, but this is also true in other dioceses throughout the world where Mary has appeared.  However, at this time it is the only approved Apparition in the United States and you are encouraged to make a pilgrimage to this holy Shrine.
