Encyclical: Rerum Ecclesiae - On Catholic Missions - February 28, 1926 - By Pope Pius XI - "It but remains for Us now to exhort you again, Venerable Brothers, all the bishops of the Catholic world, to share with Us the cares and consolations of Our pastoral office and to come to the aid of the missions in the enthusiastic manner and with the methods We have suggested in order that the missions themselves, quickened as it were by this renewed strength, may bring forth a more abundant harvest in the future."
 1. The Society for the Propagation of the Faith - "Under the direction of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples (Rome, Italy) and the bishops, the Society for the Propagation of the Faith seek to foster an ever-deeper spirit of universal mission, to inform Catholics of the life and the needs of the Catholic Church in the Missions, and to encourage prayer and financial help for those mission churches." 
2. The Society of St. Peter the Apostle - "Invites individuals to support the education of candidates for the Catholic priesthood in the developing world and to support the formation of men and women candidates for the religious life in the missions."
3. The Missionary Union of Priests and Religious - "This spiritual apostolate...continues to address itself to those called to bring Catholics to a better understanding of their baptismal responsibility for the church’s missionary work — to priests, Religious, seminarians, pastoral leaders and those engaged in catechesis and religious education."
4. Holy Childhood Association - "An international organization whose membership is made up of students in Catholic elementary schools and religious education programs; it is an organization dedicated to fostering children's awareness of the missionary nature of the Church."

Catholic World Mission - "In every project we sponsor, we strive for the long-term transformation of poverty — we alleviate immediate physical suffering, and also help the poor to provide for themselves in this life on earth and to grow in holiness to reap their eternal reward in Heaven."
Catholic World Mission’s Lay Missionaries - "Fully trained Catholic catechists paid to work full time for the Church under the direction of their parish priest and local bishop."

Maternal Life International - Although it is not known if this organization is totally made up of Catholics, it does provide a much needed service.  "A nonprofit, private voluntary organization dedicated to providing safe, practical, life-affirming, and innovative programs in maternal health care, in AIDS prevention and care and in fertility awareness.  We integrate these programs, as needed, and partner with government agencies, private voluntary organizations, and community - and faith-based groups for maximum results.  We predicate health care development upon respect for the life and dignity of the human person."
