COMMENTARY:  The above shows you how dirty and underhanded Democrats can be.  What great evil lies in the hearts of some of them!

(Guest speaker Bishop Johnson spoke of his "HUSBAND."   This Episcopalian Bishop was invited to lead the opening prayer for the webinar hosted to elect Joe Biden).

COMMENTARY:  A sad example of the moral decline taking place within many religions.

September 22, 2020

Dear Brothers in Christ,

"I write to thank you for your service to the Lord and to the laity in these times which are challenging on so many fronts. I want to address directly with you an issue that has been brought to my attention about a  webinarsponsored by the Immigration Task Force of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. In it a bishop of another faith gave an invocation followed by several presenters criticizing the current president’s handling of the immigration issues, accompanied by a plea to vote accordingly.

Neither I nor the leadership of the archdiocese were aware of or approved the content of this webinar. The archdiocesan  employee responsible for the content of this unauthorized webinar has been put on administrative leave while we continue to determine how this breach of protocol occurred. I am keenly aware of the  prohibition on participating in political activity which is incumbent on the Church and with which each of you has been asked to comply.  It troubles me that a ministry of the archdiocese apparently violated that same prohibition.

Thank you to all that communicated with the curia to bring this to my attention.  Be assured that the leadership team, with my approval, is taking swift action to close the offending Facebook page, remove the inappropriate webinar from social media, cancel two additional unauthorized future webinars and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.

I am sorry for the anxiety this matter has caused you and your parishioners.  Always feel free to bring matters which you find troubling to my attention, as you have done here, for which I am most grateful. Please be assured of my daily prayers for each of you and those you serve.

I look forward to getting to know you more closely in the days ahead.  Thank you for your prayers for me and for the Archdiocese of St. Louis."

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Most Reverend Mitchell T. Rozanski

The liturgy should move the faithful away from the world, not secularize the Church  - "In every aspect, the usus antiquior is like a perpetual exorcism of the devil, pointing over and over again to the incarnate God’s triumph over the ancient enemy of human nature. The very fact that the new liturgy abolished or abbreviated exorcisms wherever they were found — in the rite of baptism, in various blessings, in the very rite of exorcism itself! — speaks volumes."

27 doctors to German bishops: ‘No medical reasons for a ban of Communion on the tongue  - "When opening one's mouth, one tends to breathe in, rather than out, so that the dispersion of droplets is unlikely...In June, 21 Austrian doctors quoted the professional opinion of Professor Filippo Maria Boscia, the president of the Association of Catholic Doctors of Italy who stated in May that “Communion on the tongue is safer than hand Communion.”

Catholics lamenting the declining Faith must work to bring it back  - "Narratives of decline are not hard to find these days. Lots of people seem to think things are getting worse, and want to be reassured that they’re not the only ones who think so.  This sense of decline also explains, in part, the appeal of restorationist currents in our politics. (“MAGA” is nothing if not a restorationist slogan.)

The pandemic, in case you needed reminding, has exacerbated all these trends.  As a metaphor for the state of our world, this pandemic is almost too obvious. The Church — the world — seems to be holding its breath, waiting for what comes next, not knowing quite what to say for fear of making things worse, yet also afraid of remaining silent. Not knowing whether to struggle against a slow suffocation or to remain docile and calm, and to endure whatever will come.

Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich, the Archbishop of Luxembourg, recently mused that the coronavirus pandemic may accelerate the secularization of Europe by a decade. He is worried that many Catholics, at least in his native Luxembourg, have remained in the Church for “cultural” reasons, and that the Church closures during the pandemic have weakened that already tenuous connection.

There are similar concerns here in the United States. In Milwaukee, Archbishop Jerome Listecki recently announced that he was lifting the general dispensation from Sunday obligation for his local churches. Beginning last weekend, Catholics in his archdiocese are expected to fulfill their obligation to attend Mass. It makes sense that, while a bishop might not know what the “new normal” will look like after the pandemic subsides, he will want to do everything he can to make sure Catholics go to Mass."

APOCALYPSE NOW: America braces for bitter Supreme Court confirmation fight weeks before election  'The pro-life grassroots have full confidence that President Trump, Leader McConnell, Chairman Graham, and every pro-life senator will move swiftly to fill this vacancy.'  - "Commenting on the widely-viewed video footage of leftists banging on the doors of the Supreme Court before Justice Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in, “It was madness in Washington,” Fox News host Laura Ingraham said on her show The Ingraham Angle Friday night. Quipping that summer 2020 has been a “summer of love” filled with riots and civil unrest, she then grimly said, “I don’t know what the ‘fall of love’ is going to look like.”

Fauci: We'll likely be wearing masks for most of 2021, even after a vaccine rolls out  - "Dr. Anthony Fauci says a vaccine alone is not going to "get us to the point where we want to be, by the end of 2021."

COMMENTARY:  This is not good news, but it is not unexpected.  Information about this virus has been incomplete since it first was recognized.  Many people still have not changed and do not even consider it is our sins that have led to this punishment from Almighty God.  Many others pray for this virus to end, but few prayers are said to encourage people to confess their sins and return to giving glory to God, rather than building up their egos.

Pelosi 'misspoke' on San Francisco Mass attendance, spokesman claims  - "Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office told CNA Friday evening that she “misspoke” when she described “recently” attending Mass in a San Francisco church, despite the city’s months-long ban on indoor Masses.  “The Speaker misspoke. She has not been in San Francisco since September 5th due to ongoing talks around COVID relief and appropriations,” spokesman Drew Hammill from the Speaker’s office told CNA in a statement on Friday evening...

Earlier on Friday morning, at a press conference at the U.S. Capitol, Pelosi was asked by Erik Rosales of EWTN News Nightly about a recent op-ed by Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco, Pelosi’s archbishop, on the “unfairness” of the city’s public health rules.  Cordileone had pointed out the city’s ban on indoor religious services—except for funerals—during the pandemic while gyms and hair salons were allowed to serve some customers indoors.  Pelosi answered that “I have been to church in San Francisco recently, and I did receive Communion.

COMMENTARY:  There are grave moral issues here.  First, Pelosi is bragging about receiving Holy Communion although she is not allowed to due to her not following Church teaching on abortion & homosexual marriage.  Her office also claimed she simply "misspoke," although she actually lied.

In addition, although  Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone is correct in complaining about the unfair restrictions his diocese must endure concerning the Mass, he is not fulfilling his obligation to personally tell Pelosi she cannot receive Holy Communion due to her not following some Church teachings.  This is a great scandal that more than one bishop in contributing to:

"It is sometimes claimed that dissent from the magisterium (official teaching of the Church) is totally compatible with being a 'good Catholic' and poses no obstacle to the reception of the sacraments.  This is a grave error."

Former Vice President Joe Biden denied communion during South Carolina campaign swing  - “Sadly, this past Sunday, I had to refuse holy Communion to former Vice President Joe Biden,” Father Robert Morey wrote in a statement responding to queries from the Florence Morning News.

“Holy Communion signifies we are one with God, each other and the church. Our actions should reflect that. Any public figure who advocates for abortion places himself or herself outside of church teaching."

However, Bishop Malooly in the Sept. 4, 2008 edition of The Dialog, the Diocese of Wilmington’s newspaper, addressed the issue much differently shortly before his installation with a totally opposite opinion.

“I look forward to the opportunity to enter into a dialogue on a number of issues with Sen. Biden and other Catholic leaders in the Diocese of Wilmington,” the bishop said in an interview that was published four days before he was installed as bishop of Wilmington. “HoweverI do not intend to get drawn into partisan politicnor do I intend to politicize the Eucharist as a way of communicating Catholic Church teachings.

It is critical to keep the lines of communication open if the church is going to make her teachings understood and, please God, accepted. It is my belief that Catholics of all occupations have the same duty to examine their own consciences before determining their worthiness for the reception of communion. I think I will get a lot more mileage out of a conversation trying to change the mind and heart than I would out of a public confrontation.”

COMMENTARY:  Although Bishop Malooly  has stated:  "I do not intend to get drawn into partisan politics," he already has been drawn into them by not advising Joe Biden about whether or not he is worthy to receive Holy Communion.  One has to wonder, has he even talked with Joe Biden about this moral issue?

In addition, although he wants to keep "the lines of communication open" with Catholic politicians who refuse to follow Church teachings, what about "keeping open the lines of communication" with Our Lord and himself obeying the teachings of the Church, instead of caving in to Pelosi and other hypocritical "Catholic" politicians?  Where is the courage and faith of this bishop?  What a poor example, and what a great scandal he too has become a part of:

"For do I now persuade men, or God?  Or do I seek to please men? If I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ."  (Galatians 1:10)

Fr. James Altman doubles down in his widely anticipated follow up to the viral video "You Cannot Be Catholic & a Democrat  - "He maintains is the simple truth and a no-brainer statement. Altman discusses the "great tragedy" of the Church, and left-wing cancel culture - the bullying and socialist tactics used in opposition to him and other faithful Catholics."

Commentary:  Father Altman speaks the truth.  There are many false, phony Catholics who simply "use" the Church to further their own ambitions & lies believing they can ignore various Church teachings and still remain pleasing to God.  A great, severe Judgement awaits them.

"This all too imminent danger, Venerable Brethren, as you have already surmised, is bolshevistic and atheistic Communism, which aims at upsetting the social order and at undermining the very foundations of Christian civilization.   In the face of such a threat, the Catholic Church could not and does not remain silent. This Apostolic See, above all, has not refrained from raising its voice, for it knows that its proper and social mission is to defend truth, justice and all those eternal values which Communism ignores or attacks.

Ever since the days when groups of "intellectuals" were formed in an arrogant attempt to free civilization from the bonds of morality and religion, Our Predecessors overtly and explicitly drew the attention of the world to the consequences of the dechristianization of human society."

COMMENTARY:  Communism as any true Christian will tell you, is a great evil.  Not to believe God exists, and to try & force others to follow that belief through persecutions and punishments, is a cowardly way to run a government, that is, if you can even. call a dictatorship a "government."   Only ALMIGHTY GOD has the true Kingdom, the Power, & the Glory that will last forever, & no earthly philosophy or power will be able to overcome this truth.

‘Passion of the Christ’ lead actor blasts ‘collaborator’ bishops destroying Church.  Catholic actor Jim Caviezel, best known for playing Jesus in the 2004 film, unloaded on 'lukewarm' Christians in a recent Fox News interview.   "Catholic actor Jim Caviezel, best known for playing JESUS in the 2004 film The Passion of the CHRIST, blasted “lukewarm” Christians in a Fox News interview, saying it’s “a bloody shame” one can’t tell the difference “between a priest, a bishop, or a politician.”

“I got to play JESUS, some of us love Peter or Paul, but there are many of us right now, they are flat out Judases, okay? Or they’re Pontius Pilates or they're the Pharisees, okay?” Caviezel told Shannon Bream on the Fox News show FOX@Night yesterday."

COMMENTARY:  It is refreshing to learn of someone with far more influence speaking out on this issue.  For many years I have been promoting the truth about the conduct of our bishops, although of course, not all bishops are indifferent to what is going on in the Church.  We must pray that the honest & spirituality bold analysis of Jim Caviezel will awaken others within the Church to speak out so that we have a Church that is free from the evil of Left-Wing politics.

Chinese defector virologist Dr Li-Meng Yan publishes report claiming COVID-19 was made in a lab  - "A virologist who fled China after studying the early outbreak of COVID-19 has published a new report claiming the coronavirus likely  came from a lab.  Doctor Li-Meng Yan, a scientist who studied some of the available data on COVID-19 has published her claims on Zenodo, an open access digital platform.

She wrote that she believed COVID-19 could have been “conveniently created” within a lab setting over a period of just six months, and “SARS-CoV-2 shows biological characteristics that are inconsistent with a naturally occurring, zoonotic virus”.  Early reports of the origin of the coronavirus, or “spillover event”, were that the virus jumped from animal to human within a wet market in the Chinese city of Wuhan sometime in late 2019.

“The natural origin theory, although widely accepted, lacks substantial support,” Dr Yan writes in the report.  “The alternative theory that the virus may have come from a research laboratory is, however, strictly censored on peer-reviewed scientific journals.  Nonetheless, SARS-CoV-2 shows biological characteristics that are inconsistent with a naturally occurring, zoonotic virus.”

COMMENTARY: Even though Doctor Li-Meng Yan has very good credentials, "likely" or "could have," is not definite evidence.  However, until solid evidence is found, we should allow her the respect she deserves, and hope she does not continue to be censored by those who do not believe in free speech or mature discussions.  It is important to find the truth to help resolve misunderstandings between various nations, and to help eliminate the dangers those misunderstandings can cause.  vtb

VIDEO - Pro-LGBT US cardinal: Catholics in ‘good conscience’ can vote for radical pro-abortion Biden  - "Cardinal Joseph Tobin, who supports homosexuality, stated that Catholics in “good conscience” could vote for pro-abortion Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. Tobin’s de facto endorsement, where he mentioned Biden by name, contradicts the country’s top pro-life priests who have warned that “no Catholic can vote for Joe Biden” because of his radical abortion advocasy...

Cardinal Tobin’s de facto endorsement of Biden contradicts the country’s top pro-life priests who have warned that 'no Catholic can vote for Joe Biden...Both Biden and Harris have made clear that, instead of protecting life, they would make it easier for women to procure abortions, both within the United States and abroad."

COMMENTARY:  Cardinal Tobin is being led by SATAN, and not the HOLY SPIRIT.  He brings more scandal to a Church already experiencing a great deal of it.  He is another member of the clergy that should be corrected by Pope Francis.  However, this liberal pope will not take any action that goes against his goal to greatly liberalize the Church.

VIGANÒ on CORONAVIRUS: To Appease Wolves, Shepherds Abandon Sheep  - "The statements of the Italian Episcopal Conference, those of the Cardinal Vicar of Rome, as well as the surreal and spectral images that have come to us from the Vatican, are many expressions of the darkening of the faith that has struck the heights of the Church. The Ministers of the Sun, as St Catherine of Siena was fond of calling them, have caused the eclipse, and delivered the flock to clouds of thick darkness (cf. Ezekiel 34:12)...

Open, throw open wide the doors to Christ! Open, throw open wide the doors of our churches so that the faithful may enter in, repent of their sins, participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and draw upon the treasury of graces that flow from the pierced Heart of Christ, our only Redeemer who can save us from sin and death."

COMMENTARY: Our bishops should have never submitted to government or state officials in regard to their refusal to guarantee "Freedom of Religion."  Bishops should have been allowed to put in place their own restrictions.  However, fear, rather than faith, dominated our Shepherds' thinking, and their poor example also caused fear to dominate their "sheep."

Transgender woman’s role at Mass stirs controversy in Argentina  - "ROSARIO, Argentina— Marking an historical first in Pope Francis’s home country, the Diocese of San Luis in northern Argentina invited a transgender woman Tuesday to read one of the prayer intentions at a public Mass celebrated by the local bishop."

COMMENTARY:  First, we must state that "she" is not actually a "woman," but a man.  We cannot change our DNA.  If this is not acknowledged by this bishop, then he has become part of the lie this misguided man is perpetuating, no matter the "good" he is accomplishing in society.  To honor such a person without acknowledging his true identity is very sinful and the cause of great scandal.

Egypt: Christians Ordered to Sell Home and Go into Exile - "The case revolves around a Christian youth who accidentally hit and killed a Muslim girl with his motorcycle in the narrow streets of the village of Hawarat al-Maqta.  Despite the fact that such accidents are immensely common in the chaotic and near lawless roads of Egypt; despite the fact that even the girl’s father acknowledged that it was an accident and is not accusing the Christian youth; and despite the fact that these sessions are informal and meant to find the most equitable solution before the courts get involved—Mayor Hanni Snofar of Fayum governorate, who was invited to the session, ordered not just the expulsion of the youth, but his entire family, who must sell their home as soon as possible and essentially go in “exile.”

COMMENTARY:  Muslims have no tolerance for those they believe violated their moral codes.  If the governments of Western nations treated Muslims the way they treat Christians, Muslims would be infuriated.  However, the nations of the West have more wisdom and compassion, and choose to respond in a far more civilized manner.

Two rioters dead after armed vigilantes show up to face down violent extremists in Wisconsin  - "Violent riots by Black Lives Matter and Antifa extremists in Kenosha, Wisconsin late Tuesday evening reportedly came to a preemptive halt when armed vigilantes, who have been accused by the left of being militia members, opened fire on the extremists, killing two and injuring at least one."

COMMENTARY:  Black Lives Matter is far from being a non-violent protest organization.  They promote violence and looting, and therefore should be identified as a TERRORIST organization.  Those who support them, no matter what their social or religious position, are in reality, "terrorists sympathizers."

US Bishops invite faithful to day of prayer and fasting against racism  - "Bishop Fabre stressed that they stand in solidarity with Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki of Milwaukee (which includes the city of Kenosha), who earlier this week said, “Violence can never be the means to attain peace and justice. The Church stands as a beacon of hope. The sins of violence, injustice, racism, and hatred must be purged from our communities with acts of mercy, with the protection and care for the dignity of every human person, with respect for the common good, and with an unwavering pursuit of equality and peace.”

COMMENTARY:  The actions of a few police officers whether justified or not justified, do not reveal widespread racism in America. There is very little racism in the United States.  The false idea that wide-spread racism exists is being promoted by the news media which is to a vast extent, controlled by Democrats. It is the violence by misguided racist protesters that we need to end through our prayers and fasting.

The Darker Side of Martin Luther   -  "If we wish to find a scapegoat on whose shoulders we may lay the  miseries which Germany has brought upon the world-I am more and more convinced that the worst evil genius of that country is not Hitler or Bismarck or Frederick the Great, but MARTIN LUTHER."
----Reverend William Ralph Inge, 1944

"Martin Luther is remembered as one of the most famous religious figures in history,  considered to be the founder of Protestantism. However, there was a lesser known side of him, one that was dark and full of hatred. Unknown to popular  knowledge,  Luther wrote a treatise in 1543 titled On the Jews and Their Lies. In this  65,000-word document, he repeatedly attacks the Jews.

The consequences of this treatise were far reaching, even extending into the present day, as his writings continue to be  reproduced in pamphlets by neo-Nazi and anti-Semitic groups. More devastating, his   writings were circulated during the most horrifying event of the 20th century: the  Holocaust. Hitler himself named Luther as one of history’s greatest reformers in his  novel, Mein Kampf.....

I was raised as a Lutheran, and yet I never learned of Luther’s anti-Semitism. Now that I think about it, it makes sense that the Lutheran Church would want to keep Luther’s anti-Semitism a secret...

In the end, I believe I have uncovered a substantial amount of evidence that proves that Martin Luther was anti-Semitic.

However, I believe that I have not uncovered enough truth to thoroughly support my claim that Luther significantly influenced Hitler and the Nazis. Perhaps, in the future, with more time to investigate and research sources, my claim will be proven."

COMMENTARY:  In spite of the fact that through his writings, Luther committed grave sins against the Jews and the Roman Catholic Church, a majority of Protestants who call themselves "Christians," approve of his teachings (including the author of the above article) and/or dismiss the scandal and divisions he caused within Christianity.  This is due to the fact that they are decidedly against the beliefs and teachings of the Catholic Church, although they are not normally prejudiced against Catholics themselves.

The Internet is filled with attacks against the Catholic Church from Protestants who, with a fair measure of guilt that they refuse to acknowledge, have basically chosen not to attack other Protestant Churches, but rather, single out the Catholic Church.

The fact that Protestants keep on dividing into different Churches does not sink into their reasoning.  They fail to form the logical conclusion that there can only be ONE source of the COMPLETE TRUTH, and not thousands, and divisions in regard to their beliefs are a clear sign that something is very wrong with some of their teachings.

Although throughout her history there have been, and continues to be divisions and scandals WITHIN the Church, faithful members continue to believe the true Church, because it is led by the HOLY SPIRIT, will always be "One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church," based on not only the Bible, but Tradition tracing back to the Apostles and the first pope:

"And I say to thee: That thou art PETER; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
[Matthew 16:18]

"They therefore that received his word, were baptized; and there were added in that day about three thousand souls.  And they were persevering in the doctrine of the APOSTLES, and in the communication of the breaking of bread, (THE EUCHARIST OR HOLY COMMUNION) and in prayers.  And fear came upon every soul: many wonders also and signs were done by the apostles in Jerusalem, and there was great fear in all. And all they that believed, were together, and had all things common."
{Acts 2:41-44}

"Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the TRADITIONS which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle."
[2 Thessalonians 2:14]

Luther may have originally had good intentions, and perhaps some of his earlier writings contained a measure of truth, but we will not be judged by the "good" we have done in the past, but how the state of our soul is now, and if we fulfilled our obligation to "warn" those living in sin to return to the Lord.  One of the "Spiritual Works of Mercy" taught to Catholics is to "admonish sinners" because if we truly love someone, we will above all, always be concerned with his or her soul.

In conclusion, although it is well known what many Protestants think about the Catholic Church, it is also good from time to time to be reminded of why they believe what they do, and the motives behind their actions.  While there is much talk about "unity" between those of different Faiths, there can be no true unity without honesty and a desire to accept the truth.  The truth is there is only ONE TRUE CHURCH, and that is the Roman Catholic Church.

Skipping Mass over COVID-19 fears a ‘grave sin,’ Wisconsin archbishop warns Catholics   - "An archbishop in Wisconsin says missing Mass due to COVID-19 fears is a “grave sin,” as an order excusing parishioners from attending Catholic Mass is set to expire.

On Monday, an order allowing parishioners throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee to skip mass due to COVID-19 will end, and Archbishop Jerome Listecki is encouraging parishioners to return to church in a letter posted to the archdiocese website.  “It will be the responsibility of those who are capable and not prohibited by other circumstances to attend Sunday Mass,” Listecki wrote.

“Those who deliberately fail to attend Sunday Mass commit a grave sin.”  Listecki said dispensation to skip mass will remain only for “grave reasons” such as sickness or caring for those who are sick. Being at high risk of serious illness from COVID-19 due to age, underlying conditions or a weak immune system is also considered a “grave reason,” he wrote.

COMMENTARY:  Our Faith must always take priority over our fears.  However, not all are truly strong in their faith.  Others are still very cautious due to the constantly changing opinions we are being given by federal, state, and local government authorities.

Therefore, we need to pray and ask the HOLY SPIRIT for wisdom and discernment for this issue, while keeping in mind our moral obligation to follow Church teachings.

We also need to reflect on the great sacrifices CHRIST made for us through His sufferings, and how deep our love for Him  truly is.  In addition, we must not forget the blessings and graces we receive when we receive CHRIST through the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

"In a speech in Ohio President Trump remarked that presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden aims to “take away your guns, destroy your Second Amendment,” adding: “No religion, no anything.  Hurt the Bible, hurt God.  He’s against God, he’s against guns.”

Biden credits those Catholic roots — which first took seed in parishes and parochial schools in Pennsylvania and Delaware — with teaching him the importance of the human dignity of all people, a core principle of Catholic social teaching. They also shaped his understanding of solidarity, especially with the poor and the working class, which he regularly cites when talking about job security and economic policy."

COMMENTARY:  Biden is a liar and a hypocrite.  He calls himself a "good Catholic," but refuses to follow Church teachings on abortion and other moral issues.  To say "he has a good heart," or "we cannot judge his heart," is not the correct way to look at any evil person.  Biden approves of the murder of the unborn up to, and even after birth.  That is not the mark of a good person, and therefore, for the good of our country, we have a moral obligation to judge the evil in politicians like him.

If you cannot judge evil in a person, your lacking in discernment.  Trump is constantly being judged in an unfair manner on just about everything he does, and yet Democrats (and some bishops), believe Biden should not be judged?  In addition, although we have some good bishops, some are spiritually weak and occasionally join in with the attacks.  Are they guilty of judging Trump's heart?  Is it morally right for a bishop or priest to be a Democrat knowing the evil that exists in the Democrat Party?  We know it is not, but who is correcting them?  Certainly not Pope Francis.
