The Sacred Heart of Jesus
"Come to me, all you that labor, and are burdened, and I will refresh you. Take up my yoke upon you, and learn of me, because I am meek, and humble of heart: and you shall find rest to your souls. For my yoke is sweet and my burden light" (Matthew 11:28-30).
Please note: This is part of international effort to promote devotion to the SACRED HEART OF JESUS, & with your help & prayers, to evangelize & spiritually enlighten people both within and outside the Church by advising them of the resources offered on this website or similar websites.

2. I will establish peace in their homes.
3. I will comfort them in all their afflictions.
4. I will be their secure refuge during life, and above all, in death.
5. I will bestow abundant blessings upon all their undertakings.
6. Sinners will find in My Heart the source and infinite ocean of mercy.
7. Lukewarm souls shall become fervent.
8. Fervent souls shall quickly mount to high perfection.
9. I will bless every place in which an image of My Heart is exposed
10. I will give to priests the gift of touching the most hardened hearts.
11. Those who shall promote this devotion shall have their names
written in My Heart.
12. I promise you in the excessive mercy of My Heart that My all powerful love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion
on the First Fridays in nine consecutive months the grace of
final perseverance; they shall not die in My disgrace, nor without
receiving their sacraments. My divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment.
Our Lord Jesus Christ appeared to St. Margaret Mary between 1673-1675. Among the words spoken to her, she heard Jesus make 12 promises to those who would respond to the pleading of His Heart and make an effort to return His love.St. Margaret Mary once said, “I do not know of any other exercise in the spiritual life that is more calculated to raise a soul in a short amount of time to the height of perfection and to make it taste the true sweetness to be found in the service of Jesus Christ.”
Are the Promises Safe to Believe in?
They have been approved and cited by the Church.
- They have been fulfilled many times in the life of all kinds of people- the laity and religious.
- Fr. Karl Rahner-“Taken in their entirety, these promises affirm and offer no more than Our Lord Himself promise in the Gospel to absolute Faith. What is new in these promises therefore not their content, but the circumstances of their fulfillment, in fact, that what has already been promised in substance in the Gospels is now attached precisely to devotion to the Sacred Heart.
LIVE FOR THE MOMENT
We cannot recapture the good things that happened to us in the past,
And the Spirit of God does not allow us to see fully the things that will happen to us in the future.
Like our ancestors, we must live by faith,
Faith in God, faith in His Church, and faith in ourselves.
Our inner hurts and unseen pains God is always aware of,
So be thankful for the Grace you receive from Him.
Never forget what JESUS and His Mother suffered for us,
Especially when you too are suffering physical and mental pains.
Always remember that even if no one else seems to care,
God is always with us, and will never abandon us or fail to give us His Peace.
So with sorrow, acknowledge and confess your sins,
But do not dwell upon them, for they are immediately forgiven.
Think frequently about the eternal joy and glory that awaits you in Heaven,
And with hope for your future, live for the moment.
Whenever you feel "down," discouraged, depressed, or anxious about things in your life, spend some quiet time with JESUS. Go to church and pray to Him before the Tabernacle (He desires that you visit Him as often as you can). When that is not possible, meditate upon this picture and let Him speak to you, and He will lift you up and restore your peace of mind, because He LOVES you.
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, do I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid" (John 14:27).
As you aware, only through JESUS can we be healed. When we pray for a personal healing, or for someone else, it WILL be granted. However, we must always, with patience, trust in the Lord's Timing and not our own. In addition, we must accept HOW the Lord chooses to heal. It may be spiritual, mental, or physical. We must also remember that the greatest, most complete healing we can receive will be when we meet JESUS in Heaven. There He will REWARD us for all eternity, according to the degree of LOVE we had for Him and for others, and for each and every suffering we experienced while on this earth.
GuestHouse - Addiction Services for Catholic Clergy & Religious - "When a Catholic priest, deacon, brother or sister is suffering from an addiction, who can they turn to? Where can they go for help? Their special calling--their vocation--makes them unique and in need of a special place that respects and nurtures their religious calling."
"The essence of the Mass is not changing. But the way it is celebrated will be noticeably different... many of the prayers and responses of the liturgy have been newly translated into English from the original Latin text. In addition, new observances for recently canonized saints, additional prefaces for the Eucharistic prayers, additional Masses for various needs and intentions, and updated instructions for the overall celebration of the Mass will be added. The most significant changes people will notice, however, is the new translation of the actual words of the Mass." (Taken from the Holy Family Parish bulletin, Nov. 5, 2011, Cahokia, Illinois).
Commentary: As older Catholics will remember, these current changes are being made to more accurately conform to the traditional Tridentine (Latin) Mass prayed before, and a few years after Vatican II. However, neither Vatican officials or our bishops are admitting that those changes to the Mass (approved in 1969) were grave errors and should never have been put into place. Therefore, they are also being careful not to even mention the Tridentine Mass. Those changes, along with the approval of the Saturday "afternoon" Mass were designed to "modernize" the Church and please man, but without prayerfully considering that they may offend Almighty God. As a result, those appeasements have greatly contributed to the spiritually lukewarm state of today's Church. (This is an internal link, you must backspace to return to this section of this page)
As you are aware, when changes are made in the Church they can cause some members to lose faith. Their "protests" against the authority of the Church may reach the stage where they no longer attend Mass on a regular basis on the weekend, and/or not at all during the week. This is very wrong because they are also turning their back on Jesus.
When we truly profess a high degree of faith, we have a strong desire to receive Jesus through Holy Communion. Therefore, certain weaknesses of our priests or bishops will not prevent us from attending Holy Mass as often as possible. It will cause us to pray more deeply for their souls.
While it is good to be make others aware of the immoral conduct of the clergy so that more prayers are said for them, it is never good to let their conduct dominate or interfere with our spiritual relationship with our Lord to the degree that we leave the Church, avoid attending Mass, or receiving Him in Holy Communion. vtb

Marians of the Immaculate Conception - Divine Mercy Intercessory Prayer Line - "Send us your prayer petitions. We will pray for you. 'Intercessors listen, take callers by the hand, and bring them before the Lord,' says Cathy Chichester, the Prayerline's supervisor. 'We stand beside them and pray together with them. They are no longer alone in their pain. We hear, we care, we are non-judgmental, and we continue to pray for them long after the call has ended... Many callers, too numerous to count, thank us for being there for them, as they have no one else to turn to.'"
